This song also reminds me of Broken Hearted Girl. It probably was written/produced by the same people. Especially the part leading into the chorus sounds like the line: “I know that I love you/ So please let me say/ I don’t wanna love you in no kinda way/ ….”

I love Toni B - but this does not sound like her style of music - she’s better than this. This sounds like the newbies - Leona, Rhihanna and Jordan Sparks type of sound. Ain’t nobody hating/comapring toni braxton to beyonce or vice versa, people are comparing the songs themselves. and if you were a beyonce fan like you said you are then you would clearly hear how this song sounds like “broken hearted girl”. as i soon as i played this that’s the first thought that popped into my head.

anyway, the song is ok, i don’t think it’s single material just like i don’t think “broken hearted girl” is single material either but you never know. like someone else mentioned earlier the video could be tight or she could give a great performance and it could send this song out of the stratosphere.

She is one of the few artists who can actully sing and not just sing but sing with feelin and emotion. Take a moment and listen a little closer its not just a cookie cutter track that you get from every other artist. Give Toni some credit she is one of the few if not the last good voices from the 90’s diva era. Whitney sadly lost he powerhouse voice but can still sing but nothin like she used to be and Mariah last few albums have been good but she just talks fast in a lot of her tracks and i want her to sing like i know she can. At least Toni is doing her thing. I think Toni can make a comeback with this album if not i know ill at least enjoy some good talent. She has movede with the times even though i love old 90’s r&b she is doin her thing with a more modern feel. Toni is back and she is ready to be back on top
