I will most definitely be going to see this movie. I encourage us all to support all black films but especially Tyler Perry’s. His movies are positive and doesn’t show black women in a negative light it shows us in a real light and also shows us how to overcome situations that many of us really find ourselves in. We have enough movies that have no message whatsoever, his movies not only give a positive message but they also entertain. Keep doing exactly what you are doing Tyler, we love you in the A.

He shows us hurting but needing love like all women. I appreciate it is so much that he shows black women as vulnerable desiring to be love just like the rest of the women on the planet. Let’s keep it real, if we are heterosexual women we need a GOOD, Godly man in our lives and we deserve to find that.
We are so use to our black female characters playing all hard, no-nonsense and motherly that we think that is all we are and all we should represent. Much or why many of us are the way we are has to do with the lack of a father and lack of true love from a good man.
We are WOMEN first, then black and strong. We desire to be nuture and loved just like anyone else. I love that being shown to the world.
