I think Lil Mama just got caught up in the excitement of Jay’s performance - it was hat (and I don’t even like him that much). It’s somewaht understandable (but wrong at the same time). However, I think since it was near the very end of the song, Jay could’ve just showed her some love (played it off in a good way) and just let it be. He then could’ve told her off-stage that he didn’t appreciate her jumping onstage during his performance. After all, it’s not as if she tried to grab the mic and join in.
