I absolutely loved the beginning of the VMAs. Janet Jackson tore the stage up! It made me sad to see her performing next to her brother, he should have been there. She did him justice….performance highlight of the night for me.

MJ tribute dancers/Janet (passionate), Bey (effortless), and Lady Gaga (theatrical) had the best performances. I like Jay-Z and Alicia too, but Lil’ Mama’s random moment made it better (that shit was funny). I thought Pink was boring, her vocals were great, but the set up had nothing to do with the song. She should of performed “Funhouse” which would of made more sense (still love her). Madonna speech was nice, and could of been shorter. Bey letting Taylor have her moment was a sweet thing to do. I know some people are gonna speculate and talk shit, but what she did was well appreciated to Taylor.

Janet Jackson made me proud. Loved the part when she and MJ danced together. Ye could have picked a more appropriate time, but I was thinking the same thing. Gaga ,and Pink did their thing. Beyonce is a straight up Superstar. Jay Z made it happen and Alicia Keys had me believing that she is straight up proud to be from New York. She did that. Janet Jackson, I just neede to get that off.

Was a good show, My Fav was Janet’s tribute to her brother…Beyonce did her thing with Single Ladies, Pink was amazing.
