I was not feeling Janet’s performance at the VMA’s at all, therefore I can’t say if she still has it or not. She was off…but I gave her a pass because of the circumstances.

I however don’t think the vma outburst was anything other than alcohol, i like how he didn’t apologize for what he said..just how he said it. Kanye will always be madhonest and real….it was just one of those “when keeping it real goes wrong” lol.

Coming from Washington DC I am really glad that Wale is getting some shine and really repping the city in a good way, thought they could have picked a better band than UCB to be the houseband but proud for my city non the less. DMV STAND-UP!

I was looking so forward to this kanye/Gaga tour. Nevertheless I believe that everyone needs to take the time for self-care. Physical and Mental health are very important, and if he needs to take the time off to get healthy, then that’s what he needs to do. More power to him.

I wish Janet would just come out with a whole new album when she’s ready though. I’m still excited for this album, I totally dig her old material.

I swear, people are taking this Kanye/Taylor Swift thing way too far. If he’s taking a break to reflect on himself, then that’s great. However, if this is becuse of backlash from the VMA incident, then that’s ridiculous. I’m not trying to turn this into a race thing because Kanye was DEAD WRONG for doing what he did, but if he had pulled this on Keke Palmer instead of Taylor Swift, the media wouldn’t have blown it up nearly this much, and we all know that.

I can’t wait for Janet’s new album. Her new song is HOT! She and Rodney have a good chemistry, and I’m so glad to hear they are working together again, along with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis. Her VMA performance was really good. I’m hoping people can finally look past the BS and start appreciating this woman as the icon she is. The reason her past few singles haven’t blown up as much as they should have is because radio has still been blacklisting her for the whole super bowl incident. That was almost 6 damn years ago. So excited (no pun intended) for all the Janet news in the past two weeks. Whoever thought her performance wasn’t good needs to go watch it again, clearly you’re hating just because that’s all you can do. Who at 43 can come out and give what Janet gave? She always breaks away from the choreography in all of her performances, that’s not a mess up. It’s called performing. And yeah, she slipped, but to slide across the floor and drop to your knees and pop right back up at 43 isn’t quite as easy as it was at 29. Hell, many 29 year olds can’t do it. So stand DOWN haters!
