Lady Gaga and Kanye West’s ‘Fame Kills‘ tour is anticipated as the hottest tour this year and will definitely be the place to be in certain cities. Lady Gaga recently spoke about the tour concept:
“The storyline is that Kanye is on one end of the stage and I’m on the other, and the whole show, we are trying to get to where each other is,” she said.
“I want something that he has, which is the fame, and he wants something that I have, which is home, and my humble beginnings. So we battle each other throughout the entire performance to steal each other’s spaces… So I’m essentially on a quest to kill Kanye West to steal his fame.” [SOURCE]

CIARA WRAPS UP 4TH ALBUM
Although Ciara has mainly been spotted shopping and out with her celebrity friends instead of promoting her latest album, Fantasy Ride, she has not put her recording career on the back-burner.
It seems that Rap-Up.com got a chance to catch up with Tricky Stewart, where he announced that he and The Dream are going to collaborate with Ciara for her whole fourth studio album.
“We’re doing the whole project,” he reveals. “We’re pretty good into it at this point. We’re about 14 songs deep right now.”
Ciara worked with the duo on Fantasy Ride on the tracks, “High Price” and “Like A Surgeon,” which were fan favorites from the album. Tricky said that they will focus on the fact that Ciara is a great dancer.
“This record obviously is gonna have tempo to it, but I think it’s gonna have even more substance than the last record,” Tricky discloses. “She dances and we always want to bring out what she does that other people don’t.”
The three have agreed that this will be her best work. It’s probable that Ciara may release a new single before the year’s end, but don’t expect to see the fourth album out until the first music quarter of 2010. Hopefully, Ciara delivers this time around.
DRAKE READIES NEW SINGLE
While his mixtape got an official retail release, Young Money signee Drake is still working diligently on his 2010 release, the debut album, Thank Me Later.
But it seems that one of the album’s producers, Harlem-based Omen, says the Toronto MC is ready to release first single, “Shut It Down” featuring The Dream, in the coming weeks.
“We’re filming a video for it soon helmed by Hype Williams. The track will be serviced just a few weeks after,” Omen tells Billboard.com. [SOURCE]
Omen describes the song as as a “Prince-like, powerful song,” and say it’s about “empowering females.”
“Drake said he had a song idea called ‘Shut It Down’ aimed at club-going females. When they go out and they get dressed up and put their makeup on and get their hair done, they have the capacity to shut the club down,” Omen recalls.
The Dream has become very high-profile within the last year, which is great for him. But do you think the industry is about to saturated with his sosund?

Well anything is better than that crap of an album Ciara released this year, so yes, I think The-Dream would be a perfect fit for her (his songs on Fantasy Ride are good). With Drake, great, I don’t think he’s doing too much b/c no two songs sound the same, I mean, you listen to Mariah’s new one and at least to me, I can’t believe he’s behind certain songs. It’s good for him as a whole, I mean, really, what producers these days are causing any noise to be honest?

i feel like even though kanye messed up with the taylor swift thing, the tour will do well. there are many people who either don’t care or who stan for gaga. i’m very curious to see what the concept will look like

That’s a very good title for that tour that Kanye and Lady Gaga are on, lol. It’s called “Fame Kills” because they are alluding to everything that they must “sacrifice” to achieve fame, including their sanity, their soul, and those close to them. This is why Kanye had to have his mother killed. “Fame” is like a ball of energy or power. It is never lost, it is simply transferred. That is also why artists have other artists killed (Puffy and Jay-Z with Biggie) or have their close ones bumped off (Common and his cousin, Eminem and Proof, etc.) in order to ingratiate themselves to the Baphomet. One has to ask, why would Lady Gaga feel like she has to destroy Kanye West to “steal” his fame? The answer is to transfer his energy over to herself so that she can become a bigger “star”. It is like a video game to these people. I notice that one of Ciara’s songs is called “High Price”. I bet it was, lol.
