I’ve been saying the same thing since Keri came out with “Turnin’ Me On”. It’s so obvious that her label wants her to pick up where Ciara left off… And I guess it doesn’t help the argument when the majority of the people on Keri’s “team” all worked with Ciara in the past, from her A&R person to her publicist to her choreographer. It’s like they look at everything that made Ciara a success in the past and clone Keri’s “image” (because that’s all it is) around that.

This song sounds alot like “Promise” and the video and dancing look very Ciara-ish.

Ahhh, this is one of my FAVOURITE Keri Hilson songs!
Been listening to it for months now - never get tired of it!

The “body shots” of her didn’t look all that good.
And lol at her twirling her “rat tail” - that’s so ugly.

I really like this song, I think Keri’s got another hit with this one. The video was ok, but typical I thought she could’ve had a better story line for such a great song but this is still cool I guess. Entertainment Weekly actually called Keri’s sound Aaliyah meets Britney and I can see how that make sense. I could hear Aaliyah doing a song like this if she were still with us. Ciara fans need to hush because she is not original herself, we all know by now the people she has copied so give Keri a break. Also Keri has written for Ciara if I’m not mistaken so if that’s the case she’s been comfortable with this style a long time maybe even before Ciara came out years ago. This probably could’ve been Ciara’s song since I think Polow produced this, but that girl is so busy trying to “cross over” instead of doing music that suited her and actually made her hot.

I hate when people defend keri hilson like she is a great singer. She wirte great songs but she should stick with that. I get tired of going to live shows or watching award shows and i say to myself “wow she sounds really bad or that’s not how she sounds on the cd” I miss when we had real singers like mariah carey, xscape, destiny’s child, sade, monica , jill scott and so on. i saw keyshia cole and keri hilson perform and i was so disappointed. Just keep writing good songs and give it to good singers, you still gonna get paid Keri!!! Everybody can diss Beyonce but Ive seen her live and I was blown away. She has a beautiful voice. Homegirl”s voice in person sounds the same way on disc. how many of the so called singers out here today can you make that statement about. Music is more than good looks and style. Dont get me wrong, Bey shows a little tail but at least she got a killer voice that comes with that. Let’s stop hating on talent and try to influence some of these so called artists to not quit their day job.

i think she looks great… she does look alot like ciara but she is NOT her. and as for monica.. i appreciated a recent interview i saw of hers.. she said she doesnt know keri and doesnt care to but that polow and her are really close and he begged her to do the cameo since she was already in l.a recording with him and after speaking to ciara about it , she agreed . and agreed only because polow means alot to her and ciara didnt mind.. it doesnt get any realer than that.. and she was in la recording the album that you guys are asking about. u dont complain when r.kelly jumps on everything moving for a whole year before he comes out so get over it.. and glad to see chris brown out having fun..

people KILL me when they say keri can’t sing… are you SERIOUS??? of ciara and rihanna, keri has the BEST vocals. People need to get their ears checked. Keri has far more range and control of her voice than any of them. Smh. But yes, there were far too many similarities in this video to ciara’s past videos and that nasty little rat tail that she’s twirling…NOT cute. But i do think she looks very nice in the video.

Once again Keri, you disappointed me. That wasn’t sexy. I mean it was cute and the video itself was decent (altho having nothing to do w/ the song) BUT she was not sexy. I mean, just because you pretty doesn’t mean you should be lazy and the delivery was very lazy.
