Seems as though this year’s VMA’s have brought leaks out of the wood works and everyone’s been making good off of their appearances. Just after her finale performance with Jay-Z, Alicia Keys has leaked her brand new single, “Doesn’t Mean Anything.”
“Doesn’t Mean Anything” leaked earlier in snippet form, but now we get the full version of the mid-tempo, piano-driven ballad. Alicia sounds great on track, which is the lead single to her upcoming album, which we haven’t learned a title for yet.
I am soooo loving this song. I love me some Alicia Keys. She is a powerhouse and almost everything she puts out I can relate to and this song really hits home. I am loving it!!!! A. Keys Fan!!!
This is what I love about Alicia Keys. She always takes the time to put out good quality music that all can enjoy. She doesn’t push three and four mediocre singles out at the same time just to get the buzz and stay relevant.
The song is just okay. But I’m sure the radio will play it enough for it to grow on me. Love A. Keys though don’t get it twisted.
I couldn’t see this being a first single from her new album. Cool, album track though!

I REALLY like this song….cant wait to hear what AKeys brings.. Her lyrics always have some SUBSTANCE to them. I dig that.

I like Alicia, but this song is disappointing. Too much like “No One”, except bland and boring. C’mon Alicia, you can do better than that. Seriously.
