NEWS: CALIFORNIA WOMAN MISSING AFTER ARREST
Wednesday, September 30, 2009

After exhibiting bizarre behavior at Geoffrey’s, a restaurant in Malibu, 24-year-old Mitrice Richardson was arrested for not paying $89.21 for a dinner of Kobe beef steak and an Ocean Breeze cocktail.
When sheriff’s deputies arrived, they found a small amount of marijuana in her car, impounded it and took her into custody on suspicion of defrauding an innkeeper and possession of the drug. According to the restaurant staff, Richardson “said she was from Mars and started speaking in a made-up language”. Restaurant owner Jeff Peterson said, “She did tell my valet at one point that she was here to avenge Michael Jackson’s death.”
Released on her own recognizance, Richardson had no car, no cellphone and no purse when she left the Los Angeles County sheriff’s substation in Calabasas about 1:25 a.m. That was September 17; she hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
“We’re looking for all kinds of clues,” said Greg Fry of the California Emergency Mobile Patrol Search and Rescue team. Richardson’s mother, Latice Sutton, said she was shocked that her daughter hadn’t paid her bill, saying Richardson had $2,000 in a bank account. After seeing her mug shot, she said, “My daughter would never walk out of the house with her hair looking that way.”
Family and friends have created a website, findmitrice.info, to help find the Cal State Fullerton graduate.

This story is very interesting. Very strange that they would let a mentally deranged woman free at 1:25 in the morning with no identification and no vehicle. One would think that she would be detained for observation and possibly contacting a family menber or close friend. Since she alleged to be from Mars, I believe that some horny caucasian “officers” conspired to have their way with her and make it her last night on this planet for real. Iit’s done all the time. Recently here in New York, there was a story concerning two “officers” who assisted a drunk woman back to her apartment, then returned to rape the woman, and subsequently doctored the official police “record”. The outfit that this woman is wearing in the photo is also very interesting. She has the oroboros earrings, and her shirt has all occultic symbology (the lightning bolts, all-seeing eyes, skull and crossbones, etc.). I wonder if she could be an MK-ULTRA Monarch child that snapped out of her programming and spazzed out?

Above is some links to additional info regarding this young woman’s events that day.
That’s sad that they released her like that. They could have let her sleep on the floor of a cell and released her the following morning and had someone drop her off near a bus stop.

I didn’t go to the website but it sounded like a mental health case when I read it. Ppl like this young lady have to be watched. They stop taking their meds and get into trouble. The police should have taken her to the hospital. If she was having seizures, hyperventilating, etc they would have. But mental illness….I know that has to be very stressful on her mom. Makes me think of Mia Cambell. I hope she is alright. I was thinking about her the past couple of days.

THE POLICE SHOULDN’T RELEASE NO ONE AT ALL LATE AT NIGHT BY THEMSELVES ESPECIALLY IF THEY SEEM CRAZY OR HAVE AN ILLNESS. AND WHY THEY DIDN’T GIVE HER STUFF.
IF SHE WAS ACTING CRAZY B4 SHE WENT JAIL THEN SHE SHOULD HAD BEEN ACTING CRAZY IN THE JAIL CELL.
SORRY FOR THE ALL CAPS (not really)

I was thinking the SAME thing. I’ve never heard of someone being released without any possessions. Sounds like a cover up to me.

FUNNY HOW WHEN A WHITE WOMAN GOES MISSING I SEE HER FACE SPRAWLED ALL OVER THE TV, NEWSPAPERS, AND INTERNET 40 TIMES A DAY. A BLACK WOMAN GOES MISSING AND SHE GETS MAYBE 30 SECONDS OF COVERAGE. I HAVEN’T HEARD ANYTHING ABOUT THIS GIRL UNTIL I CAME ON CL. WTF?

I hope that this woman goes back home to her loved ones safely. I live in L.A. i watch the news and I havent heard about this story! Big up to the CL for posting this I hope other media outlets follow. But mental illness is something serious no matter what race, status, or gender you are. Anybody who could make jokes about this should be ashamed… It is a serious matter when one of your loved ones disappears and you dont know wether they are well or hurt. Lets just pray for this women and her family!

I do hope she is found , safe & alive .
& if she truely was MENTALLY ill ; and not just high off her ass –off a “chewy” [ a blunt mixed w/ coke for those who dont know’ then it is on the COPS ! but honestly i got arrested when i was 18 ; and honestly still dont know the reason , because i was never given a citation or court date ; possibly for talking shit to the police? and being a little intoxicated while doing so? either way i didnt get charged for anything!idk all i know is i was arrested around 1am and they released me a little before 5am ; due to over-crowding and it was still very dark outside . they didnt care ; i got released with all my posessions but my cellphone was nearly dead and they knew so ! I dont understand why so many people here are shocked that she was released in the middle of the night with no questions or concerns on the officers part! Once you’ve been arrrested , no matter how serious or non-srious the “crime” may be , your a criminal in their eyes regardless of your race and they show NO mercy! trust me ; i’ve been there !

They should have taken her to the hospital - not jail. If they cared a little bit, they may have figured that she could have been having some sort of mental episode vs. being high. And if she was high - why release her in the middle of the night with nothing? They better investigate the law enforcement officers on duty that night.
I pray that she is found safe - but as the days go on, that is less likely.

Well, considering the circumstances, the FBI should be involved on this one. Why? Because she WAS at the police station and it does strike as odd that they would “release” a small petite female who’s obviously in a compromised state.
Something don’t pass the smell test here. Plus, those stations are now LOADED with video cameras. Have they released any tape of her leaving the station? That should be question 1, if not only to absolve the police department of doing something to her…
But on the real, there are some strong lessons in this story for women today. Quit being hardheaded and thinking you can do whateva. This chick was probably hopped up on some drugs or something, or whomever she was with might have drugged her then left out for some reason, leaving her in a sloshed state. Who knows, but at the end of the day, many, many females do all kind of dumb shit today and it kills me how many think like they he-man or something and can handle a man…

Hope she’ll be alright
I don’t wanna pass judgment because I was not there and who am I to judge? and she might have mental illness and if it was any white chick missing they’ll be passing her image through news all accross America : Us and Canada even Mexico
however my momma always told me never to smoke weed or to take any drugs!!! when I go in public I avoid drinking a lot of alcohol because I’m black and I’m a woman and there is a bunch of predators outside looking for opportunity to bite me, don’t wanna sound paranoiac but damn if you know that they won’t be searching for you like a damn blond girl why will you take the chance to play with your life? you gotta be extra careful you never know what could happen!!!
HOPE THEY’LL FIND THIS BEAUTIFUL WOMAN MY PRAYERS TO HER FAMILY

“left the Los Angeles County sheriff’s substation in Calabasas about 1:25 a.m”
I believe she never left. I suspect foul play. Mental Health patients should not be placed in gen population. They need special monitoring. She may have died while in custody and a cover up is in play. Why would she leave without her property?
This just does not smell right. My prayers go out to the family.

THIS STORY IS VERY FISHY AND THERE MUST BE A COMPLETE INTERNAL INVESTIGATION. THERE IS NO WAY YOU RELEASE A YOUNG LADY IN A REMOTE AREA IN THE SANTA MONICA MOUNTAIN RANGE TO BE KILLED AT 1:23AM.
SHE WAS ARRESTED & SHE DIDN’T HAVE ANY MONEY!!! THINK PEOPLE WE CANNOT LET THIS CASE GO UNSOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently none of you ppl have ever been arrested before lol…which is a good thing. But, if they arrest you and you don’t have your “stuff” on your person then you won’t have it when you get released. During the one unfortunate incident that resulted in my arrest, my purse, keys and phone were all in my car. The Culver City police let me out with nothing and said “bye” basically. Then the impound spot was closed, I couldn’t remember nobody’s phone number…it sucked. I had to walk quite a few miles (in high heels) to someone’s house that I knew.
So, its not strange or fishy that they let her out like that. It probably happens a lot. I do hope they find her though.

When locked up you are entitled to one phone call (what happened)? Also, you telling me if you her family or friend and you called her and she did not answer her phone and did not here from her for all those hours that you would look for her? If she wnt in on drug charges to who posted bond?

thank you #28 when a white women is missing her damn face is all over the TV even damn milk cartons but a black women you never hear shi– about her. I did not hear this story until i came on this website today. I am sorry they call black women angry all day but i am angry at this this is someone’s niece, aunt, daughter yet no one gives a damn to investigate her last tracks or why she was released without them contacting a family member knowing when they first got her she was not right in the mind so why release her alone at 1 in the morning. I am tired of this shi- this makes you angry because this can be our niece or aunt missing one day and this is the publicity she gets!!

Damn, I heard about this on the news. I thought they would have found her by now. I hope she is ok, she graduated from my college, and I heard she was going back for her doctorate. I wonder why the police would release her if she had mental problems??? They should have had someone come get her, or maybe since she’s an adult, maybe that’s why they released her. But people with mental problems should not be released out on the streets by themselves..smh I pray that she’s ok, hope they find her soon, may God be with her and her family!

The reason this is news is because none of us are truly safe, because every black woman reading this needs to know that the possibility of her being raped, beaten, kidnapped, killed, or a combination of those, is way higher than with any other woman. We’re not looked at as valuable and thus, people see hurting us as no problem. She sounds like a beautiful, smart woman who had her whole life ahead of her.
I hope they find her, but i’m not going to be naive, they probably won’t.
