President Barack Obama delivered his first address to the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday in New York.
In his speech, the President bluntly stated that fixing everything wrong within the global community is not “solely America’s endeavor”: “Those who used to chastise America for acting alone in the world cannot now stand by and wait for America to solve the world’s problems alone.”
The President added that the United States is ready to create a new chapter of international cooperation so that all nations can join us to build “the future that our people so richly deserve”.
First Lady Michelle Obama was in town for her husband’s speech, and she and the President will host a reception for heads of state Wednesday evening before heading to the G-20 Summit in Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Not only do is Mr. Obama a great president but he and Michelle are one of the best looking couples! They look amazing!

I know what the hell is going on. And if everyone else knew they’d know how President Obama has put a hault to the Corporate greed, the Wall Street scandals, the crooked Bank Execs, and now our bs Healthcare system. Not to mention the FDA now oversees the tobacco industry. That’s another ongoing regulation that has haulted the sale of flavored cigarrettes, e.g Cloves are being band. I’ve seen a substantial gain in my retirement plan unlike the lost during the last months of his predecessor. Corporate Bank Execs are committing suicide at a silent but alarming rate. Mr. Obama studied law and now he’s literally the LONG ARM OF THE LAW. He’s absolutely right to tell the other countries to check themselves. These same countries have financially drained America that’s why we’re in this economic mess today. Our country is full of the same crap talking foreigners that he spoke to at the U.N. The same foreigners that were able to get large loans for businesses that line our inner city communites. Loans that you’re everyday American Citizen couldn’t qualify for. Our last President was greedy and could care less about the welfare of the “average citizen”. We need a President like Obama to set things straight in the Corporate, Banking, Justice, and Healthcare industries. I say just be patient and watch the middle class blow upppppp!

I agree with your comment. I feel that this president is just what we needed here to get back on track. It will take some time but I am very optimistic that Pres. Obama is headed in the right direction.
I am glad to see that this many people are involved in politics. I dnt really consume myself with it, because just like anything in the media it is also misrepresented.
President Obama is being used to jump start a global plan. Whether it is good or bad…remains the question. But we all know that it is being done.
So all I have to say is…pay much closer attention at the details. Not how cute Michelle and Barack are together. Granted they are cute, surface shit like that is not the issue at hand. Spectators need to spend more time deconstructing the “long ass speeches” and the strategy in which this political game is being played. Things are frigging changing everyday, and with knowing where we are all going, how can we navigate our own lives.
