This album from mariah is a hit. Her voice is beautiful and the songs are killa. The Dream and Tricky Stewart did their thing on this album. Mariah is a great writer with her strong powerful lyrics but also her witty little things like “I love him like a holiday duncan hinz yellow cake” LOL. Overall the album is a great R&B album and should be number 1. I am getting two copies on Tuesday. Love u Mariah.

Love vs. Money, How To Be A Lady vol. 1 and now Mariah’s new album, “Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel”. The-Dream & Tricky are truly the best!
The album is nice, it has it’s ups & downs. I still wish she would’ve included JD/Kanye or a few other producers on the album. It’s on the same level as E=MC2 to me. Neither can top TEOM. I won’t be buying this tho.
I already heard the cd on her MySpace and i must say Ms. Mariah did her thing 4real. I can definately see myself listening to this album on the iPod from beginning to end over and over again without one single skip like i did with The Emancipation of MiMi and E=MC², this is her best album out of the 3 with Emancipation coming up close behind. I’m glad she had all those delays because she has now got herself a more “polished” to reclaim herself with again and “I Wanna Know What Love Is” was a perfect choice to end her album with, didn’t like it a first but now i can’t get it out my head…Nice MiMi!!! My fav songs are H.A.T.E.U., Ribbon, It’s A Wrap, Languishing, Obessesed of course, Inseperable, Standing O, The Impossible, Angels Cry, Up Out My Face, I Wanna Know What Love Is, and wow probably others ones im forgetting right now lol the cd is just THAT dope although it will NEVER touch her Daydream or Butterfly days it still is a dope album…good job Ms. Carey!

HATEU, Candy Bling, and Obsessed. that’s about it. the other songs run together to me. they all sound alike. if you just put the album on in the background, it sounds like 1 long track.

THIS WOMAN IS TALENTED.
I liked her belting big voice back in the day, these days she can barely touch her past work, it’s evident she only has 1/2 the voice she had. which is sad to me, it just seems as she has gotten older (like from rainbow on) her voice just gets weaker and weaker…sad.
This cd is ok. just ok. Of course most of these hoodrats on here will love these songs, they don’t know any better, they think Keyshia Cole and beyonce are great artist. Little do they know….they both tired. They poor imitations of Mary J blige and Janet Jackson.
mariah has one stand out track—Betcha Gon Know.

MARIAH IS THE MOST TALENTED FEMALE SINGER OF OUR GENERATION!
Yeah we know she sucks live at times but we know once her voice is rested and she puts the shit down in the studio, there is no one that can test Mariah.
Mariah still sounds current! Her voice is by far the most versatile voice the music industry has ever seen. She can sing anything!
The variations in the textures of her voice are even more impressive. The way she sings H.A.T.E.U is beyond me. She actually sounds truly depressed in the beginning of the song and you actually feel the moment she starts getting angry and when she starts belting I get goosebumps everytime. That is the best song shes done since I don’t even know!
I havent been this excited about an album in a while Can’t wait to get my original copy!!!

I am very dissapointed ….. I think this is the 1st time that I will not purchase a Mariah CD!!!!!! I love this Woman but why did she rely on the Dream.? Even her last CD was better than this!!! The only Banger, if u will call it a banger is Obsessed and that is not saying much. She needs to take some time and enjoy her life with Nick and come back with something better than this. This is truly a sad day for me
