@neon, people don’t evolve gradually all the time. Many people make drastic changes. People wake up one morning and decide they want a different look and go do it. People walk into a salon and chop off all their hair. People decide they don’t want to look frumpy anymore, and go out and buy new clothes and step their fashion game up. We all know people who used to go to high school with us, who couldn’t dress for nothing who are now the best dressers around town, change does not have to be gradual, it goes with the feeling and mood of the individual. I am not knocking rihanna for looking the way she looks, even when she first came out, she was still stunning and looking great, even in the pon de replay video, and she was still a teenager. tihanna was a success on her first album, her second, with Sos, and her third, GGGB. SOS and Unfaithful were huge hits in their own right, and so was Pon de replay, which was all over the radio and playing in every club. Because of that song, people knew who rihanna was, so stop trying to downplay her success.
