Shout out to #4 Sumnaoo, how did she get on stage? It is my belief it was staged. Even if the only people that knew was Lil Mama and MTV, it was likely staged. MTV always produces a YouTube moment for its awards shows. Something out of left field. Remember the butt in Emimens face at a show MTV aired earlier this year? He looked so mad. He left the building. Yet stated later it was staged. In previous years, some entertainer comes out to upstage another, jump on a prop, kiss another male or female, etc. all unexpectedly. Lady Gaga: She’s starting to show she CAN sing, but she just needs more practise singing and dancing at the same time. That’s my favourite song of hers, and she did it proud. The story was just as striking as her video was.
MJ tribute: It was great. Short and very effective. I like how they didn’t have anyone in particular playing MJ- MJ played himself, as if he was there performing. Janet did her brother proud, and it was nice seeing them together for one last time.
Beyonce: Expected the Single Ladies routine, but she took it to another level. More dancers, more dancing, more glamour, and more attitude. She is a legend/icon in the making.
