I am loving this…because Brandy is my favorite singer in the world, and I am a huge fan and respector of Beyonce, her artistry, and live shows as well… So to have a side by side comparison (which I never do because they are sooooooooo different) is wild. I have to say tho with respect to both ladies that Brandy owns this song. It’s a better fit for her and I am definitely feeling her version more. The song ISN’T that great, but Brandy definitely captivates me on this one with her vocals, the harmonies on the background…and then the ad libs she chose on the chorus that take the background arrangement to another level. Brandy all the way on this one.

…….PS, Brandy DOES have a large fan base still. Brandy’s fans have grown with her…and she’s gained a host of fans that consist of real vocalists and musicians that REALLY get what Brandy does vocally, her understanding of music, and her contribution to the industry. half and half. beyonce’s 1st verse was better and her intro ad libs as the song began. but brandy’s chorus is better. the 2nd verse was both equal as was the bridge and the final ending brandy’s ad libs were nice, beyonce provided none. and the way brandy ended it i liked too. i then set the songs to play together at the same time and they sound nice together. i say a duet is in order. the hook is hot though to the writer.
