CL Reader, Jamie, sent in this touching video from Beyonce’s concert in Sydney, Australia on Friday night (September 18th). The singer brought a little girl named Chelsea who is suffering from cancer on stage and sang “Halo” to her.

In her final song, Halo, Beyonce paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson, whom she gives credit to inspiring her to become the signer she is today.

I guess people don’t think you can be rich, famous and kind at the same time. I think it’s a double-standard – Angeline Jolie adopts, Madonna adopts, Bono has huge charities – anytime you see certain celebs doing good, it’s always what a great heart they have, yet we are always at the ready to tear our celebs down when they do good. Fake on the campaign trail, fake when giving back after Katrina, fake for singing to a sick little girl. We really don’t know this young woman’s heart, as all we get are snippets and photos. But it’s really sad to see any good work done by our celebs as seen as fake, very disheartening. I would like to thank Beyonce and my #1 Mary J. Blige for some of the work that I have seen her be a part of as well as other celebs involved in charity and philanthropy. Keep up the good work! LMAO at people thinking this has anything to do with taylor swift symapthy…as if she gives a damn. ya’ll are haters so of course you wouldn’t know that she’s been doing this type of ish for YEARS. she’s been visiting sick children and singing to sick children since she became famous. recently, she even started working with girls in the sex trafficking industry and gave them all free tickets to her concert and is continuing to work with the program director to get these girls safe homes and off the streets. perhaps if you stopped looking for negativity in everything she does, you’ll know that.
i’m so glad that she made chelsea’s day. that lil girl is probably suffering beyond belief and if one little song from bey can put a smile on her face then that’s all that matters. some of you are beyond heartless to look at something like this and bypass the little girl b/c you are so damn focused on your hateful ways.

Before I go back to my peace loving, non hating life, I want to note that the video was very touching. Chelsea really touched my heart and I hope that she pulls through. I can’t imagine what she is going through and I know that Beyonce made her day. Wonderful!! This is why Beyonce continues to have blessings come her way, because she is truly a class act.

This was touching and moving. This child may survive or live a little longer because her spirit has been lifted. I love Beyonce for doing this. Beyonce you are a class act in this sense. The only thing I don’t like about Bey is the way she girates in portions of her dances. Other than that, she is not a trouble maker, she works hard, she is talented and give her all to her family and her fans. I love you Bey.

Beyonce is a beautiful person, hands down… this isnt the first time she’s done something like this… a couple years ago there was this little boy (he was blind) so Beyonce arranged to meet him backstage and he had no idea, she came in and just began singing irreplaceable to him and he went CRAZY… his parents were in tears… the girls a beautiful person no matter how you all try to potray her!
