Concrete Loop got exclusive access to the Charlotte, North Carolina stop of the “BLACKSUMMERS’NIGHT tour” featuring Maxwell, Common and Chrisette Michele. Maxwell is a big fan of the blog and showed us so much love during the show and behind the scenes. The show was amazing.

I am sure that you had a great time- I caught his show opening night in washington dc back in 08′ at DAR constitution hall. He sounded wonderful and gave an amazing performance. I could tell that he was excited that his fans still loved him after his “sabbatical.” He had a light in his eyes (yes, I was right near the stage lol) that showed he was truly amazed that he could continue to perform and garner that love from people as if he had never left.
Keep the hits coming and next time that he is in my part of the woods, I might check his concert out again- only if I am off from work (the hospital- which hardly ever happens:).

Glad you had fun Angel! Me and my husband went to the DC show last Friday and had seats right by the stage, and he put on one hell of a show, such a performer. I was surprised at Common’s performance as well, he was really good and was taking it back to the good ol’ days of Hip Hop.
I respect your loyalty to Charlotte, Angel.

I saw Maxwell last year in Houston prior to the new CD that show was EXCELLENT and I just saw him in Philly the BlackSummer’sNight tour OOOOOOOOOOOOMigosh! I thought the show last year was EXCELLENT this show was INCREDIBLE!! I will see Maxwell over and over again. I read the show was good but it was way better than good, worth every penny and I want to see him again. I’m so glad you’re back Maxwell. I’ve seen all your concerts, from 1996 or 97 St. Louis, 2001 DC, 2008 Houston, and 2009 Philly. I’m trying to see him in Baltimore in a couple of weeks. I heart Maxwell!!

I went to see him, Robin Thicke, and Chrisette Michelle in Phily, and I must say that was the best show I have ever been to in my life!!! All three of them are sooo very talented. That Maxwell is a natural performer. IF U GET A CHANCE TO SEE HIM GOOOOOO SUPPORT THIS BROTHA…. I PROMISE U WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

The Atlanta show on this past Monday was AWESOME and that is still an understatement. Chrisette Michelle makes me really wanna buy her CD. Common represented Chi-Town to the fullest (I’m from the Chi, but live in the A.) and Mawell……………………………………..MAXWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I tell you this was the BEST concert I’ve been to in a long time, I am so serious. Maxwell really makes you feel like he’s singing directly to you. He put on a SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
