Yeah, ppl on the street been wearing it for a minute but as far as a mainstream artist rocking it, Nah.Off the top of my head Goapele has had some interesting mohawks but she isn’t a crossover artist. For example breakdancers did the ‘glide or slide’ way before Michael Jackson (R.I.P), he learned it from them, changed the name & did it before a nationwide viewing audience, and its now the moonwalk. I think this was her attempt to follow the trend of La La and Cassie (not saying they started it) but w/o shaving her hair off.
