I know I’m gonna get grief about this but here I go. I actually liked Jermaine & Latoya’s outfits. Although I hated Latoya’s shoes. Ok now. Now I would exspect Jermaines wife to atleast dress for the occassion & not wear jeans, eventhough she did look nice just not nice for the MOBO awards. MOBOs stands for Music Of Black Origin. Its based in the UK and it celebrates the best in “black music”. The ceremony has become o bit of a joke lately, as its become very political and most of the people in the UK (black community) have had enough of this joke of an award ceremony. They tend to give the awards to people who a) don’t do music of black origin, they just have black faces (which defeets the purpose of the awards) b) its always poorly run and has a bit of a HOOD element to it. Just complete CRAP!

I watched the MOBO’s and I fully support UK artists as there are some diamonds out there who don’t get a look in or are still yet to be discovered. The event wasn’t bad this year… just a couple of things - (to the americans that don’t know Tinchy Stryder, Dizzee Rascal & Speech Debelle are currently UK’s biggest stars -) should’ve at least won an award and they didn’t! Why the hell was Mr. Hudson nominated when his music is clearly not of blk origin! Sometimes the MOBO’s do contradict themselves and they didn’t get the nominations right, any randomness.

The performances were good, and it deserved to be in Glasgow. Much better than the previous years. There’s more to the UK than London - this is coming from a born and bred London girl.
