INFO: GRAMMY CAMP 2010

High school students, how would you like to get a jumpstart on your career in the music industry?

The GRAMMY Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2010 GRAMMY Camp, part of the Foundation’s GRAMMY in the Schools programs, which allows high school students from across the country to work, learn and play with a variety of top music industry professionals.

Focusing on all aspects of commercial music, the curriculum engages students in the technical aspects of creating, performing and recording and emphasizes new and emerging music technologies. The program culminates in media projects, CD recordings and/or showcase performances.

Interested in participating? Apply at www.grammyintheschools.com. For those interested in attending, the final deadline is March 31. Needs-based financial aid is available, and the form will be available in January. Over the past three years, approximately 70 percent of campers who applied for financial aid received assistance.

i agree with number one about the COLLEGE STUDENTS MANNN lol!

hey yall, i usually don’t do the promoting thing, but visit my blog http://electricalsynopsis.blogspot.com. I started this blog (January 2009) for a project at my school, Oberlin College. During winter term, each students gets to do a personal project, intern, or study abroad. I started this blog for a personal project. It features my own poetry, graphic designs, attempts at photography…my thoughts on music, life, people, etc.

I think you guys would really enjoy it! And I would appreciate it if you visited it and told people about it. :0)

    Thanks…!!
