Basking in the limelight, despite the news of a co-headlined tour with Kanye West being canceled, Lady Gaga is gearing up to go on tour as well as promote her new single, “Bad Romance” from the re-release of her debut album, The Fame: Fame Monster edition.
Here is the official version of the RedOne-produced track off of the Fame Monster album which will be in stores on November 24th.

uummm unless she comes out with something acapella (sp?) I’m not going to be a fan…i dont understand why people like listening to synthesizers? i get the song message, but the delivery is…well…it suits her persona I guess. In that case…congrats gaga…still don’t like the song of her body of work.

I enjoy Lady Gaga tremendously, I was one of her early supporters.
However, I had big reservations about her too because I felt like she was “shoved” down our throats by a certain media and industry who were calling for her crowning like weeks after she had released her first hit “Just Dance”. — I’m like, noo, that’s too soon to make someone an icon. She’ll make her mark.
And to the person who invoked Taylor Swift’s sales, you have to realize that she’s promoted like absolute craziness in the media. Same with Miley Cyrus. Every day you’ll find a huge feature on youtube, tabloids, women magazines, 1000′s blogs and so on. The type of mass coverage they get guarantee the mass sales they obtain, It’s simple mathematics.
Some people are extremely short sighted thinking that exposure on Concrete Loop (which I respect) and the couple of other black-oriented blogs should offer the same sales to upcoming R&B artists like Melanie Fiona or others, but that’s an illusion.

I agree. Lady Gaga is talented but I think that the media does shove who they want down people’s throats. They pick and choose and they know how to do it. The media can make or break you. I don’t think Taylor Swift can sing live at all she sounds a hot mess most of the time but hey her album went diamond and she gets mad exposure and that has nothing to do with her marketing. She barely promoted that album but the media made her who she was. When they get tired of you they break you and thats what happened to Britney Spears but of course she back on top now but she not the same at all. Its the people like Beyonce who have to market themselves 10x as hard to get the same exposure as the white artists because Lady Gaga hardly promoted her album either. I found out about Lady Gaga through youtube and yahoo. Yahoo always featured her on the front page so did youtube. Oh yeah and a black artist could NEVER get the same exposure as Lady Gaga for their first album. They always have to try 2 or 3 times before they get big. Michael Jackson didn’t become a big star until after being the leader of a group and I think 3 or 4 solo albums. I know people think he had Off the Wall then Thriller but he had other ones too before that. Nothing against white artists but they do have it easier.
