Missy Elliott originally was supposed to drop her long awaited seventh studio album, Block Party after the tracks “Ching-A-Ling” and “Shake Your Pom Pom” dropped at the top of last year, and then followed up by “Best Best,” produced by Danjahandz.
However, she has recently revealed that the album will drop in January of 2010. Of some of the material that was recorded for the album is the Pharrell Williams-produced, “Put It On Ya,” featuring teen sensation, Teyana Taylor. No word or updates on when Taylor plans to release her solo project.

I don’t even have the patience to listen to this in its entirety. There is too much going on and the manly voice of Teyana is intolerable. There is a reason no one has any interest in this girl.

But this song is not HOT. Pharrell I don’t know. He was great back in the 90′s but he has been off for a LONG time. And Teyana offers nothing. I was not feeling her on this at all she adds ZERO. This is like Jay-Z using Mario on a song. No Diss to Mario but it would never happen. Mario is not as proven as R Kelly or Rihanna and Teyana is really not proven. Google me was not a good song. I don’t even understand what the hype is about this girl. The Sweet Sixteen was not even that offical, Pharrelll paid for it and it showed. PR stunt that failed. She’s just not a star. Pharrell has issues with artist he can’t sell any of them. He could not even make a star out of Kelis. and she was FAR more talented than Teyana.
