I’ve waited for Steph to release something for the past few years and when I downloaded his mixtape this morning I can honestly say that my soul was more than happy. I like this song. Thats his voice as in not a ton of pitch correction. Good for you man. This is very similar to what Robin Thicke was doing on his first album before he began ripping of Marvin Gaye on every song. But hey Steph this really sounds nice. If you read these comments. Keep using your own voice, dont start pitch correcting your voice to death no matter what the record label says

Steph, I had 2 address ALL of your haters who obviously don’t know how 2 recognize GREAT TALENT. ALL of you who have a DEAF EAR your lack of recognizing GREATNESS will have you eating plenty CROW. Steph is LARGER than simply SINGING the song. Maybe you don’t realize that he also WRITES his own songs and has a lot to do with what the musicians are playing behind him. Listen close and you will hear that he also WROTE and is SINGING the background vocals as well. I am a LOVER of most music by PRINCE but I also don’t like everything he does. This actually has changed my life, like what Steph set out to do for @least one person…
This mixtape (lifetape) is so real that i can’t believe we’ve been deprived all this time. his realness and honesty is undeniable. you can’t argue w/ someone who is really trying to give all of himself the people. we haven’t experienced that since like what 2001, or even as far back as the mid 90′s?
So, he’s ill,(i love every song on the tape & rarely does that happen) i don’t need to hear anything else. and i wanna thank my friend for telling me about him.
