It was a known fact that Billboard’s Woman of the Year, Beyonce, was prepping to release a new single from her latest studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce. But now rumors have hit the blogosphere that Bey will team with none other than Lady Gaga for a remix of the Bangladesh-produced, Sean Garrett-penned track, “Video Phone.”
“On Oct. 7, Lady Gaga and Beyoncé were working on the video together at a studio in NYC,” an insider reveals exclusively to Life & Style. “Everything on the set was being kept very hush-hush, and security was extremely tight.”
“In the video,” says the insider, “Beyoncé wears a feathered dress. And of course Lady Gaga wears something wild. The fashion is sick and insane.” [SOURCE]
Beyonce is also set to release two DVD’s in November. One is I Am… Yours (released November 24th), the hotly anticipated taping of her live tour, as well as a 2-disc documentary, titled Beyond the Ballad. Lady Gaga, who is preparing to headline a new U.S. tour this fall, is also rereleasing her debut album, The Fame Monster, which will also hit stores on the 24th of November.
This should be interesting. Both artists are known for their showmanship and are at their peaks. This collaboration will be monumental.
I agreee with you 233, beyonces fans are so fickle. Yeah they’re jumping on the Lady ga ga bandwagon now, but all I see is desperation from beyonce to keep being on top. She is using gaga to gain some of gagas fans, in order to keep herself on top. I guess if she pulls this off, she can thank gaga for the extra push. I kind of think the timing of this release is highly suspicious as well. Anyway what can I expect from someone who couldn’t even bow out when a friend and even her sister was trying to release their albums. I guess beys motto is stay on top no matter the cost, family friends or not. Darn she cruel.

I’m British and just like Shanelle said, these two [along with Britney Spears] are the hottest and most talked about females from the states over here so this duet will be a great success without any doubt. Clearly they are still relevant, both were nominated for 9 awards at the VMAs and have several other nods at diff awards shows. Beyonce is doing very well on the charts aswell so people really need to stop making up lies just to crush them. Give credits when they are due. It really isn’t hard. They both don’t need each other to survive music-wise so a lot of the mess people are saying just displays how hateful they are.

Even if Lady Gaga didnt wear her extraordinary oufits or have a unique since of fashion, She would STILL be as succesful. She WROTE and COPRODUCED EVERY SONG ON HER ALBUM. She can sing LIVE and play the PIANO, Chello, and various other instruments. She was accepted into one of the worlds most prestegious musical schools (Julliard).
No one else in this music industry is as talented as she is,(with the exception of A.Keys) White, Black , Hispanic, Or “dark skinned”. She has TALENT behind her image. As opposed to Rihanna, who would be NOTHING if she didnt have a stylist or high priced songwriters. You betta recognize.
