MUSIC NEWS: KANYE WEST & LADY GAGA ‘FAME KILLS’ TOUR CANCELED SAYS LIVE NATION
Live Nation announced today (October 1st) that the Kanye West and Lady Gaga’s highly anticipated tour has been canceled. This comes just days after tickets went on sale.
Live Nation released a brief statement and did not offer any explanation. Refunds are available for those who brought tickets for the tour. It was to kick off Nov. 10 in Phoenix and was scheduled to run through at least January.
If you remember, West told Jay Leno he was planning to take time off in wake of the VMA Taylor Swift fiasco.

I would have only gone to see Lady Gaga anyway, I know she would put on an amazing show. I think Live Nation should keep her on the tour and she just let her do her own show. Play the same cities that they were going to play, all she would have to do is add a few more songs to her set list.

IN LIFE we ALL make mistakes in hopes of getting it right…but for those of us given the life that most ppl dream of and we mess over it or take it for granted…things like this happen…I personally hope that God has mercy on Kanye because in my eyes he is a genius…I just think that he needed to be humbled…learn to appreciate this HUGE blessing that he has been given before God takes it all away just as fast as HE allowed him to have it.

It’s a shame, I think it would have been an interested tour, really. They’re both inventive, creative and aren’t afraid to take risks.

I am glad it was cancelled. It serves Kanye West right for thinking that he can continue to act like a butt hole in public and get away with it. This time he messed with America’s new sweetheart – Taylor Swift and it back fired on him big time.
But something in the back of my mind keeps telling me that Beyonce was in on this too. Which explains why she is going over board with singing to these sick kids trying to make herself look good in the public eye. If she was a part of this and Kanye is the fall guy, it will come out in the end.

I totally agree with #38, I thought it was weird that Beyonce was all of a sudden singing to sick children after the VMA fiasco. I knew it was staged anyway. And Kanye did not pull out of that tour to take a break, if that was the case, the tickets would have never gone on sale. Dude ruined his reputation plain and simple. And Gaga fans probably never would’ve went to a kanye concert (but secretly can’t deny that the music is good) so it really would have opened up both artists to a whole new set of audiences…
