Cant be different because they’ll be compared to all of the popular acts. I just feel their pain, its sad. They must feel like there isn’t a place for them in the Music Industry. I’m a 80-90’s baby! I grew up on the authenticity of real talent, people who were constantly being groomed; it took years for singers in the 90’s to earn their spot on the top. These days with the flash of a camera, nude photos, bad publicity and a pretty face and bam you’re a star. It pains me to see how narrow the industry has become. I think ultimately we make the call. Everyone likes this girl better because she’s pretty and has a newly found interest in high fashion and emo rock edge. I mean come one.
