I know who Grace Jones is and she was doing in the 70’s exactly what Rihanna is doing now……Which is railing against contemporary African American ideals of Style and Art. Grace Jones always had a unique style that went right over the heads of many African Americans EXACTLY like Rihanna is doing. I love Grace’s old Album covers and her style was lethal and original. Not to mention her music. We don’t have any Grace Jones types outside of Rihanna unfortunately today in modern music.
