Mario releases his new video for his second single, “Thinkin’ About You.” The track comes from his latest album, D.N.A., which just hit stores Tuesday.
The clip was directed by Chris Robinson and once again feature Richgirl’s Audra. It’s pretty interesting, considering that it picks up right where the “Break Up” video leaves off.

All I can say is that the Black woman must really intimidate the average black man out there, thus all of them running to the European woman (non threatening).
What a lotta black women have to realise is that- alot of black males out there, hold very low self-esteems from a young age that are given to them by -ahem- the ‘white male’. They then transcend to pass on this inferior complex to the black female by continuing to tell her that she does not measure up to the beauty standards (European) and this becomes a vicious cycle, where black men and women are doggin each other out to score brownie points (usually using a white person to do this).
The truth is white people have made black people feel bad about who they are. Over 500 years of slavery and the negative impacts of it are still apparant in our race if not even stronger then they were back when it all started. Black people will forever have to live with the backlash of slavery and pay the Karma for the pain and humiliaton there ancestors endured.
I think the most sad thing about it all, is that the black man in particular, is in actual fact his own worst enemy, because he is a ‘slave’ within his mindset. They continue to act in a way that the white male expects them to act, so the white male can continue is world domination and influence on the world.
How are you expected to love another, when you dont love yourself?

You are always quick to call black women out on their faults, but you dont realise that you as contribute to them. In order for us to move ahead and progress as a race, we will have to learn one another and become tolerant.
There were most probably loads of pretty black women that Mario could have featured in his video, but refused to, because having a black woman in your video is like ‘preventing’ you from mingling in with mainstream society (white world).
Black men are in desperate need to get away from what they are, a white woman or non black woman will always help them do this.

It was the chauvinistic manner is which black women were featured in those videos…strippers, scantily clad with liquor being poured down them, slapping and swiping credit cards down their asses. They were doing THE MOST treating women like animals which taught younger males who idolized those rappers that it was ok and in fact cool to treat a female like that. And now that black women have been replaced by the various nationalities they aren’t displayed in videos the way black women once were. I think that acutally falls in like with what BLACK WOMEN INT…MEN was saying, that played a part in the potrayal of black women hence degrading her self esteem and self worth even more. The truth is black men dont want black women in their videos because they have been conditioned to feel ‘ashamed’ of them by the western world. Mario is looking for commercial success, he associates the European woman as ‘material’ gain, the woman that is going to bring the money in. He feels that if he puts a black woman in his videos, his album will overall fail. Black men think black women hold them back.

The first president of Mexico was black.Also,90 % of all Puerto Ricans have black blood.Cuba and the Dominican Republic are black countries, black hispanics that were born to the black slaves that were brought there,outnumber everyone else on those islands. In Latin America there are over 200 million black hispanics,in otherwords blacks and hispanics are related,they are not two different races. Don`t let the white media brainwash you with the lie that blacks and hispanics are two different races.
I love the song. I wish I could have seen some dancing in the video. The video was average. Why are people putting Nuvo in all of there video’s. It’s a girl drink so why do I see these rappers walking around with it? I find that so funny. Hopefully Mario’s next single will be Starlight and on that video I hope he dances like crazy.
