All I can say is that the Black woman must really intimidate the average black man out there, thus all of them running to the European woman (non threatening).

What a lotta black women have to realise is that- alot of black males out there, hold very low self-esteems from a young age that are given to them by -ahem- the ‘white male’. They then transcend to pass on this inferior complex to the black female by continuing to tell her that she does not measure up to the beauty standards (European) and this becomes a vicious cycle, where black men and women are doggin each other out to score brownie points (usually using a white person to do this).

The truth is white people have made black people feel bad about who they are. Over 500 years of slavery and the negative impacts of it are still apparant in our race if not even stronger then they were back when it all started. Black people will forever have to live with the backlash of slavery and pay the Karma for the pain and humiliaton there ancestors endured.

I think the most sad thing about it all, is that the black man in particular, is in actual fact his own worst enemy, because he is a ’slave’ within his mindset. They continue to act in a way that the white male expects them to act, so the white male can continue is world domination and influence on the world.

How are you expected to love another, when you dont love yourself?

London is a very multi-racial and diverse society so we don’t really take notice of the colour of models in videos frankly nobody cares.

But I hope your not just referring to the lighter skinned mixed people, because mixture in the black race comes in all shades. I like mario, the song is ok, it ain’t bad, It’s just not a song that I would get on my ipod and play it often, it’s kinda borin’ 2 me, it’s basically the kinda song that’ll be hot on the countdown or radio 4 a few weeks, and then after that, you’ll get bored of it. that’s what I see of it anyway. the video was nice, I like the video, I wish that they didn’t promote the drink nuvo so much, I don’t understand why they always promote that drink soo much. but Mario did look sexy!!!!. and who cares if the leading lady is latina or black or white or any ethnicity , there are plenty of r&b/hip hop/rap artists who has beautiful black women as the leading ladies. and yes I am aware of the video hoes trend, but more so often you’d find a video with a “Leading Lady”, not a video hoe, alright!!!!, playin’ on the countdown. So y’all just relax, sit back & enjoy the show. be grateful that there are artists out there who love their gift of singin’ or rappin’ and wants 2 share that with us. now of course I do sometimes think that there are some artists out there who don’t deserve the spotlight as some of the true performin’/singin’/rappin’ artists should get. ya feel me?.

@ 29 I think they were refering to hip hop videos where the “video ho’s” are dropping it low not a leading lady in a R&B video.

Very few singers actually have brown skined African American females as their leading lade in a video. Only two are coming to mind Ne-Yo & Robin Thicke. It doesn’t upset to the point that im going to boycott lol I’m just curious as to why it’s like that.

All this talk about black men hating black women and boycotting this and that is a load. This way of thinking leads to hateful thinking period.
