Glad to see this hot track got a video.
It’s been out for awhile, with no mention… But real music doesn’t make the radio or t.v.
Hope the new album is hot as well…
He dropped a mixtape not too long ago called “The Art of Noise” for those of you new to his music. Google it…

Raheem Devaughn is one of those underrated artists. He is talented, can sing and writes conscious music. We need more people to promote this type of music! I got chills listening to this song!
Hands down to you Raheem for the mastermind work that you do and the positive messages that you incorporate in your music!

This is a hot song. It definitely reminds me of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.” It also has a Curtis Mayfield kind of vibe too. This is real music that is actually saying something. I wish we had more comments on songs like this as opposed to 100’s of comments on Rihanna’s hair…lol.

You can’t help but like a song that takes you back to Marvin, but isn’t it a little too soon to be flashing the “Chicago beatdown” that killed Derrion Albert? Wasn’t ready for that!

That was pretty damn good!!!! I love Ludda…he’s so versatile and always delivers great material regardless of the medium. Plus he’s hot and full of swagger. It’s a relief to hear a more serious topic being addressed by these artists. And interesting visuals to go with the lyrics too. Good work guys!!!

Love it!!! Is the music smapled though? It sounds strangely reminiscent of another song. If it’s original it definitely has that 70s sound. Classic. Good. 2 thumbs up DeVaughn. And to think i’d almost written him off when I thought I heard him sing a song with auto-tune. He’s redeemed in my eyes. Good shot, I might get this album. Luda murdered his verse too. Great collabo. I hope this gets the shine it deserves.

Love it! I gotta DL this. Raheem is so gifted and loved the mash up with Luda, it added an extra rawness to the song. Everything he said was truth, only thing is I know we will only get to see the video on the net. The “Beast” called Viacom (BET, MTV,VH1 ect) will not play this.
One reason they’ll give is the imagery, especially at the end.
Love Raheem and wish he’d get more airtime. Much love to Concreteloop for putting this out there.
@#3 Listen to what he said, he mentioned he knows what “times” these are and that he read it in “The Book”. Maybe that’s why he did that or was it because he was just groovin to the some and it wasn’t anything covert. Just sayin.

@ 21 I’m with you as well…honestly if he just hummed and let the beat play I would be better pleased. I love the vibe but the lyrics are not the greatest to make the ‘message’ really mean anything. I’m still getting his new one when it drops, he never disappoints but I hate when he releases singles (with the exception of Woman) because there are like at least 5 better tracks on the album.
