Off the heels of the success of her featuring on “Empire State of Mind,” and the release of her first single, “Doesn’t Mean Anything,” Alicia Keys drops her second single, “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart.”
The new single comes from Keys’ forthcoming album, Elements of Freedom and was produced by Jeff Bashker. The album is set to hit stores December 15th.
I’m sorry, but everytime I see the title I think she’s mocking Mashonda. When listening to the song, I thought it was ok. But I ain’t never gonna buy it.

The alum theme seems to be breaking up bc the first song i dont know if any one peeped in her video when things were disppearing there was a photo on the piano that look like her and her ex..she can be singing about her and old ex..we dont know the whole story..despite the fact its sad but we always hear one point of view and thats mashonda

I just find it extremely funny how nearly everyone is tryna backlash Ms. Keys because of who she’s dating & how the singer Mashonda feels. My thing is this….NONE OF THESE PEOPLE KNOW ANY OF YA’LL. I mean, I understand a fan feeling a certain way because they’re devoted to a certain celeb, but some of these comments make it seem like Mashonda ya’ll cousin & ya’ll used to eat at Popeyes together back in the G. It’s just so funny.
