Anyway, Brandy sounds amazing on the song (as normal) but the song is just okay to me. It is defintely not one of my favorites of the unreleased material.

Being a Brandy fan, one thing that I admire and respect about her is the fact that she has her own SOUND and that she never compromises her artistry to be more mainstream again. And as much as I would love for more people to see what I see in her, I do not want her to take that step backwards (as this song indicates). She has matured and evolved…so has her music. Unlike many of the so-called artists today, she does not need a gimmick. Some people may call her “lame” for that, but the truth is that her music speaks for itself. She could chose to make music for the times but why should she do that when she makes music for the ages?

Glad Brandy is back, not in love with the song, but crazy about the way her voice sounds on it. For years Brandy has been singing in a weird kind of tone, kinda of pushing right up under the note. It happens to the best of them. So it a matter of time before she back on top…

I’ve heard this type of production before from other artist. It sounds okay, it doesn’t sound exactly like her earlier stuff, which is good. More popish, kinda white girlish. Something I expect to hear over the speakers in Forever21 or Charlotte Russe. The beat is average…..nothing extra originality. Tired of people overusing the word “hate” “hater” - this term for jealously or whatever needs to be retired because it has been grossly overused. Song left me totally uninspired.
