Just a couple of weeks ago, Chris Brown released his new single from his upcoming third studio album, Graffiti, featuring Lil’ Wayne and Swizz Beatz. Via his Twitter page, Chris also announced that ballad would follow-up.
“Crawl” is supposedly the dual first single from the new album. Interesting enough that a brooding forgiveness song leaks from Chris Brown after the leaking of Rihanna’s first single, “Russian Roulette.”
In any event, Chris shot a video with Swizz and Wayne this week for “I Can Transform Ya,” so if Chris is actually releasing two singles at once, we can expect one for “Crawl” to follow soon after.
You know it’s so funny. 30 plus people on this posting keep typing that “Chris is Back” LMAO!!!! Chris is not back. This song is weak and you all know it which is why you find the need to declare that Chris is “back.” Chris is exactly where he was yesterday and that is nowhere. This boy is begging and crawling and doing anything he can to get some STANS to buy his lame CD. This idiot has not even taken any classes on Domestic Abuse yet. I find this song to be exactly where r&B music as a whole is. This is predictable and the type of garbage Chris Brown has been leaning on since he came out. Stop acting like this song has innovation. I didn’t want to give it a chance, but this song is really nice. I’m not so thrilled about Rihanna’s song though. Seems like she’s trying too hard to be what she’s not. I like her, but it seems forced. The best of luck to the both of them.

Even though it took such a painful event for the depths of his (CBs) heart to reveal itself in his songs, this song is a beautiful demonstration of the depth of his soul (just follow the note changes he chooses in order to hear the explanation coming from his contemplation) .

An unfortunate decision and chain of events have led Chris to this point in his life. We are fortunate live and receive the gift of his music through this period of his life. This is the kind of song that a lot of people will replay in their minds as they recall situations in their own lives and the soundtrack of those situations.
@ Meat – yes, Michael devoted himself to the fans and the music COMPLETELY. He made AWESOME music because of it. But, I think it is unfair to ask that of anyone… especially of anyone who grew up watching what that kind of unbalanced commitment did to him in his personal life. We, too often, forget that when the crowds aren’t screaming, the band isn’t playing in the background and the paps aren’t snapping in their faces, the artists and celebs that we “love” have to find PEACE within their own lives and relationships.
Chris, I have no doubt, will continue to grow as a musical talent and as he continues on his personal path, as a man.
