R&B singer Jaheim is back with “Ain’t Leavin Without You”, which is the first single from his upcoming fifth studio album, due February. The singer hasn’t put any new music out since the release of his last album, The Makings of a Man, back in ’07. We are glad to see him back!

I love this! Very catchy, fresh and great vocals of course! I understand what poster #72 is talking about. I would love to hear him exercise more range and take on a broader direction in his music. But you know a lot of these artist don’t really have any serious creative freedom. Music is just a production line with artists being put into their respective categories and released without promo or fanfare. But I do like this song.

This man’s voice possess that rare gift. If you truly lesson to the quality and range of his voice you would realize that you are listening to something very special that you may never witness again. He could sing acappella about King Kong and make you fall in love with King Kong. This man can fill a concert hall with women as a single act. He doesn’t need anyone else. As for Teddy. Yes, Teddy could sing. He had more of a deep raspy voice and he yelled alote. It was almost like he was trying to scare women into staying with him. Jaheim has a beautiful melodic voice that very few men can compete with. Comparing the two is like comparing Patti Labelle with Phylliss Hymen. Jaheim is in that category (melodically speaking) with Luther Vandross and Phylliss Hymen. All are very sensual and pleasing to the ear.
All he needs now is a PR or manager that can get him out there. There is a place called Birchmere in Alexandria Va. Right outside of D.C. He needs to show up there it would be a sale out.
