Rock ‘n roll sensation Janelle Monáe has finally graced us with some new material after the release of her first EP, Metropolis, Suite I: The Chase.
The new track is “Come Alive (The War of Roses).” The funky tune was produced Nate “Rocket” Wonder and written by Monáe, herself and Chuck Lightning of the Wondaland Arts Society. This is just a taste of what’s to come on her full length album, Metropolis, which is expected to drop at the top next year.
Love HER!!!! She has an incredible voice and is one of the most genuinely creative singers out there. (not just one of those dress weird and make BS video game sounding music… and call it creative people)….She’s great.

This woman and her music reminds me of those bugged out paintings that everyone says are so “complex” and “expressive” because they’re afraid to say that the paintings are garbage. There is nothing impressive about this demon, other than how much of a demon she is. She is going through the same “Metropolis” rituals as all the other female singers.
