As usual, Mariah Carey follows the previous formula that’s worked for her before, by enlisting the most popular/trendy rappers of the time to join her on her readied third single, “H.A.T.E.U.”
Joining Mariah this time around are OJ Da Juiceman, Big Boi and Gucci Mane, whom she already featured on her “Obsessed” remix. The remix was produced by Jermaine Dupri and sample’s “My Boo,” originally performed by the Ghost Town DJ’s.
Mariah’s latest album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel hit stores last week and debuted on the Billboard charts in the top 3.

Mariah’s voice is just not what it used to be. I remember searchin online to try to figure out what happened to her. As a singer matures, her voice should get better, but in Mariah’s case it’s gotten worse. Her performances aren’t good either.

Yeah I don’t recall seeing a great Mariah performance .. mainly because I hate when she constantly waves her hand around, and the fact that she can’t dance, which doesn’t help her movement on stage.

I like this song! I feel that maybe her album didnt do as well because it wasnt really pubbed. I didnt even know it was out until I looked it up on Amazon. I like Mariah, even tho her voice might not be like it use to, she sounds 10 times better then most of these singers out now! When are we gonna get to hear some REAL talent again! this “era” is a whole week old. a bit premature to call it a flop, no? but it’s whatever. those that wanted to see her ‘fail’ are having the times of our lives right now. it’s all good. hope she continues to shit in your cornflakes.
I get what Mariah was trying to do. Recreate every era of her career but this was waaaaaaaay too early and it was not done correctly. This was just not the time to do that. She wasted a perfectly great concept maybe if she would have went away for 5 years or so and had some kids. Then come back with this Memoir album but I can see she wants everything to happen right now. There should have been no E=MC2 and this should have been released in the summer of 2010.

1. The released the 2nd Single: I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS with no video, and with just a few appearances –We belong together however was on every tv show, prom, ellen, the view, today, GMA, letterman, leno, MTV awards, and all over the UK.
2. They have STANDING O–which is the best song she has done in 10 years. This an anthem for all women, every color who have been dogged by a man. Gay fans alike will love this sing. It’s Mariah’s Single Ladies/Umbrella. It’s Her next nbr 1. But of course they release HATEU…which is nice, sexy, but has limited crossover appeal
3. Vocally–Mariah is sounding better but she has about the energy of a lifeless black barbie, who has no energy on stage, but as soon as she gets off, she is FULL OF LIFE…
4. Interviews: she NEVER speaks of the this CD, all she talks about is NICK and how they met..YAWN
