Give it a chance she has hits on this CD . Just because you have low 1st week sales doesnt mean it goes down hill from there. There are alot of weak 1st week sales that grow to platinum…and then there are others that are number 1 and fade to black within weeks . You people must be really young because Mariah’s new album is amazing! Now I would understand if the album was garbage, but there is absolutely nothing garbage about MCC’s new album. This is the perfect R&B album…no fillers at all. Every song tells a story about love, heartaches, cheating lovers, life and etc. The catchy melodies, clever lyrics and funny catch phrases makes the album even better. Just because the album sold 178k first week doesn’t make it a bad album. Also, people need to stop comparing Whitney’s new album to Mariah’s because MCC clearly has the better album. Only reason Whitney’s first week sales were higher is because its been 7 years since the last time she released an LP. Mariah released an LP last year that sold 463,000 first week, more than Whitney’s first week sales for her comeback album. Mariah, The-Dream & Tricky Stewart created a masterpiece and you people need to listen to the album for yourselves and stop going along with what other people are saying. You will be pleasantly surprise how amazing this album is.

I was surprised that Barbara Striesand out sold Mariah, but Babs have been around a lot longer and she does have big fan base so cheers to her (in Mariah’s words).
