Here is an unreleased Michael Jackson song that was just released early Monday via his official website.
Later this month, the two-disc album Michael Jackson’s This Is It will be released to coincide with the worldwide release of the ‘This Is It’ motion picture, which arrives in theaters on October 28th and runs for a limited two-week engagement.
The album will also include a 36-page, commemorative booklet featuring exclusive photos of Michael from his last rehearsal. For full track listing and more info check the MJ official site.

OK, this is JUST MY OPINION because I’m a MJ fan way before Thriller phenomenon; let’s just say since the ’70′s. This song has a old school feel about it (sounds like one of the songs from the Jacksons “Destiny” album), but for some reason, he sounds a bit off key to me…his voice sounds off key. Michael NEVER sounded off key. Sounds like maybe he was singing the melody, but not really feeling the song. I always remember Michael saying that he has to really feel the song to believe in it. Michael is “missing” in singing “This Is It”. With that said, I admit, I’d purchase this because it is his final song. But it doesn’t sound like the Michael I’ve been used to hearing for most of my life. I can’t help but wonder how tired he must have been and really was trying to get this song right. *sigh* Rest in Peace MJ. I still can’t believe the man is gone…
Michael Jackson is the greatest entertainer of all time. When I go see that movie, I will cry the second I see his face on the screen. I love this song.

@10 because you probably have, it was released by a singer named safire under the title ‘i never heard’ in 1991.
i think sony used the demo michael recorded, added a few new backing vocals, an updated track and changed the title to ‘this is it’
its a shame sony did this, michael was a perfectionist and he wouldn’t have wanted it this way, saying that however its always a joy to hear his vocals.
i really like this song… its smooth and it sounds like his style,,, and his voice sounds really good no sign of age.

Micheal voice is a one of a kind, rare and beautiful! I don’t like what Sony did to this track, it hasn’t got great production values… it was left of Dangerous album for a reason.
This song probably would `nt have received a lot of attention if it had been released during MJ` s life. But given the sad circumstances of his death and the sentimentality of this sweet song, I predict that it will become a hit.

R.I.P. Michael Jackson
I greatly miss Michael. I grew up eagerly awaiting his world premiere videos. He took videos and music to levels that have yet to be surpassed. I loved this man deep down inside. He was like a big brother that I never met. I always thought that he could and would never leave us. When I heard that he was in cardiac arrest, I dismissed it as oh he’ll be ok he’ll bounce back from that. I wish I could see him just one more time and hear him speak just once again. I wish he could be here to receive the love that his adoring fans are giving him. Many of us took for granted that he would always be here and didn’t show him the love that we should while he was living. Although I don’t know what other way to show him the love that I have except to be in mourning still to this day. I cry quite frequently because Michael was like a family member. I so loved this man. Michael will have to live on through song and video forever in my heart.

We are missing the soul of music, and we regret it until it was gone, once in a lifetime we have someone like MJ, that song is already classic already, and we regret that we never got a chance to make him happy in life and he always felt sad in his eyes, we need to keep him alive in his music and our hearts. LOVE IT! It is my understanding that they took Mike’s Demo and his Brothers (the entire Jackson Brothers) came in and did background vocals on it. They could have mixed it a bit better but nonetheless – I miss him so much and am awaiting seeing the movie. The first time to get my grief out and the second time to just enjoy the man!
Yall always talking about we did this and that to him. Please stfu. I never met the man. he never knew i existed on this earth. If anything it was his fault for associating himself with them damn kids. He aint learn his lesson the first time and he had to pay for it the 2nd time which is probably why he is dead. MJ did what MJ wanted to do and I don’t see anyone else to blame but himself. If he aint have a childhood he still had other things and you don’t always get everything you want in life.
