There still around, but their all shaken off the dust from scandals and drama. Go listen to R. Kelly’s song, “Religious”. And, Fantasia, ,Kandi, Chris, and Usher could do much better if they get the right songs. Also, Anita, Boyz2, Justin and Mary J. can still put it down, but the success has taken its toll.
Their all great artist. But, where’s the money? Is it in the studio or on the concert? Most of the studio work gets leaked and ripped before the cash in. So, most artist find it easier to go on tour and sing their old hits. Jamie is a prime example. He’s cleaning up on the concert tour circuit. And, Toni milked the Las Vegas show scene until she passed out…litterally on stage.
So, the artist migrate toward the cash rather than spending time making new music. That’s why we end up with Lil Wayne and Jay. Beyonce’ tries to do something new each year, but he depth is sometimes missing and she relies on the gimmicks. She too, has made a truck load of money on the concert tour.

When I pressed the play button I was wondering “WHEN did Lil Wayne start singing” .. and then when that same voice kept going I’m like “Lil Wayne’s part can’t be this long” until I finally realised it was Mika. Like I know the voice is a bit off to be Lil Wayne’s voice but I did not think this ‘woman’ would have such a manly voice.
