Timbaland needs to go back to the drawing board. His talent is above this mediocre song. As for Drake, very overrated.

Weird, Drake’s bee-buzzing tone sounds sexy in this:)
Overall, I think the song is great, its like a sequel to “Scream” ft Nicole & Keri but with a slower and more introspective groove.

LOL @ Texas Girl…I didn’t know what he was talking about either until I played it a couple of times. I guess it must have been a girl he was dating and she couldn’t deal with the life he was living…and they broke up. Now that he’s find success he’s going to need her to ‘Say Something’ now….
I like the song…its hot.

yall ppl dumb. not becuz he isnt on the song means it shudnt be his song. Produces always use artist for their whole track. Look at DJ Khalad…he as a whole album and he isnt even an artist. And look at the New kelly rowland song, that not even her song…shes just the feature and she sings the whole song.

I’m feeling it. And I think Tim’s album is an example of a producers album. A compilation of a producers work on one cd it’s genius. Who said tim needs to be on the vocals he’s a producer. You can’t expect him to deliver the same way Jay would cause he’s not that type of artist. We need to stop trying to categorizing everything it just shows how we truly lack diversity mentally.

@ #27 ROME,
yea is does have that So Ambitious feel to it…That beat is raw tho!!
Drake kills it like always, he can actually RAP & SING.
and he is being HIMSELF, unlike some of these other rappers today.
….and i dont hear him in autotune either, Drake just sounds good…LOL

I like it. but im getting tired of Drake now, all this damn hype and he aint backing shit up. Lil Wayne and his diseased rass really is going to kill his career before its even started properly.
But why the hell is Timbaland doing a song with Miley?? smh…

I like the song, it’s pretty good. But I just hope that drake takes all the right moves 2 not overly hypin’ himself up, becuz I gotta feelin’ that if he’s not careful, people are gonna end up bein’ bored & tired of him. I mean I do kinda like drake, but c’mon, let’s get real, this dude dropped a mixed tape, and already he’s like the next big star!!!!. I’m kinda gettin’ tired of only hearin’ drake on the radio, which is why I’m barely payin’ attention 2 the radio now. I mean I don’t kno’, I’m just gettin’ sick and tired of overhyped & overrated people on the radios, I want there 2 be a balance, ya feel me? Is that 2 hard 2 ask?.

Sunday, October 18, 2009 /
i think i might have to get this album. i was wondering how it was gonna sound
but its definitely laid back and i LOVE the fact that drake can sing on his own track.
and even if he does use autotune in some of his songs its NOT bc he needs it!
also, DJ JAZZY JEFF had a HOT album with various artists on it. as a producer, you can do that. whats more dope than having a superb album that you dont have to say ONE WORD on? thats HOT
the tracks speak for themselves.
also, when compared to this BOOTY “music” on the waves now, id rather hear an instrumental any day
and, yes, theyre playing drake heavy in rotation but look at the alternatives theyre “giving” you! THEY WONT LET REAL AND UNIQUE ARTISTS THROUGH!!!
dont like it? GET SOMETHING GOING, SIGN PETITIONS,LET THEM KNOW YOU WONT TAKE IT.
but then again, look at the kids now. somethings really wrong with them. almost soulless. this is what they want. the mindless music that breeds ignorance and causes them to kill without a second thought and not care about anyone but themselves.
IS THE MUSIC TO BLAME?
no, but it sure plays a part. lets face it. there is power in the tongue. words have meaning. and when youre singing the lyrics that come on the radio day in and day out, what are you doing?
training yourself to think about those things. HO’S,CLOTHES,DRUGS,DEATH,GLUTTONY,SEX,SELFISHNESS,BRAGGING,
SHALLOWNESS, and ME ME ME
37.
love good music

i always find it funny how just because Timberland makes the best he credits himself as the main artist even though Drake is rapping all over it.
Since when does a producer become an artist just because he made the beat lol

@Real Talk when you’re a big named producer or dj, you can do that. someone else already mentioned how the song with kelly rowland is a “features kelly” song- it’s credited to the dj who has a whole album with other artists singing on his tracks. i’m not sure why people have an issue with what timb is doing when others have been doing the same thing.
like the song- the beat is so mellow and i’m starting to warm up to drake. i like how smooth he is on tracks

Umm.. I have a question, guys. It’s off topic, lol. My daughter is finally old enough to know what Halloween is and she wants to go trick-or-treating for the first time. I’m all for it, but her mother grew up in a “Christian” home and rebukes the thought of celebrating Halloween. Should I let my baby have some fun or keep her sheltered like her mother wants? Thanks.

Meme, so what? Just because some producers do that doesn’t mean that it makes sense! If you are producer/beat maker, then why not just create a cool instrumental with some adlibs like Baltimore Club djs/producers or dance producers???? It’s so dumb to have an artist sing on your whole song when all you did was create the beat. We’re paying attention to the artist and the lyrics, then the beat.
Anyway, Timbaland needs to sit down somewhere. I can’t believe that people are feeling his track. It’s so boring and wack. Drake is overrated and he sounds so ghetto when he raps! I can’t stand his voice. I’m tired of thes overrated rappers. Rap is wack nowadays and needs to die.

Think outside the box people!! You so caught up in what you are use to hearing and acustom to. Thats why you dont have a record deal right now because you sound like everybody else and still reminecing on what rap use to be like. No disrepect to those who paved the way. To the producers out there, Timbaland is the best to ever do it Period! Hands Down! He is versitile and not on one type of style. When you think like he do, you make hits that people will remember. Think outside the box. Challege yourself. When you expand yourself you get more clientail, more creative, and last but not least…. More Money! I agree that Drake is getting a lot of radio play, but what other options you got right now? The boy is talented. Stop hatin. If you think you can do better than him or Tim, Do it!. Put up or shut up.

I’m wondering where the other listeners who commented are hearing the autotune. Seriously please start making informed decisions and stop letting pop culture dictate what you do and don’t like. On another note, I love the beat and Drake is good on vocals. Nice track.
