Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kandi Burruss, is dealing with the tragic death of her fiancé, Ashley ‘AJ’ Jewell, who made frequent appearances on the hit Bravo reality show. Channel 2 news of Atlanta broke the story late Friday night of his death.
Reportedly, AJ received a severe head injury during a fight at ‘The Body Tap Club’ in Atlanta. He was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he later died.
Police said they have not determined a motive for the brawl, but the investigation is still under way. “It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head,” stated Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows.
Kandi Burruss’ publicist, Lisa Nelson, confirmed to reporters that the incident has left Kandi stunned and speechless. It has also been reported that Kandi will be attending the funeral of her uncle today (October 3rd).
Kandi left this message on her twitter page early Saturday morning:
I’m bout 2 give my swollen eyes some rest now. I just wanted to say thanks 2 everyone for their prayers. I gotta get up & go 2 my uncle’s funeral. I could never in a million years imagine this happening. Please pray for AJ’s children, that’s who im the most concerned 4. Im just in one of those moods where I dont wanna talk, I dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. I just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone.

Why was he in the strip club. Body tap is in the hood and nothing but trouble goes on in there so if he was engaged why was he there?

@ 21..He was there for business…he bought into the club. They were not engaged. They were sepearated but still really good friends. His kids are close to her and is a guardian to two of them. So yeah..!

For all you commenting on what he was doing at a strip club, on the night he died, you need to check your facts before posting such an insensitive comment. He was at the strip club (Body Tap), because he worked there as a manager. The person who allegedly killed him, was a co-worker (another manager). Not that it’s relevant. People are also killed in churches and schools. DO you ask what the hell they were doing in church or school? I don’t think so. Check yourselves people, before making insensitive comments. The subjects of your blogs do read this shit!

OK. So the Bible is talking about temptation. What does that have to do with AJ’s death and all the other horrible things that happen to people? When people say that God will never put more on you than what you can bear, they are addressing horrible situations that happen in life. They are not speaking about being tempted by tihngs, which is clearly what the Bible is talking about. Your passage states that God will not allow you to be tempted more than what you can handle. He doesn’t say that you will not encounter more trials and tribulations than what you can handle.

We as humans were created to have that natural communication, we need to touch, feel, smell and to see. Everyone is driving around with GPSs, which they weren’t using before and now cannot go anywhere without it. Everyone is texting and doesnt talk anymore. We’re becoming cold and phony and complety dependant on technology. Tecnology is slowly degrading society and will only get worse untill humans actually merge with it which is the agenda.
It’s interesting how they broke up right before he died. I think in terms of AJ that was a sacrifice for either the show or her career which she is trying desperately to resurrect. The song writers are high level witches, as sweet as she may appear. I see her doing the El Diablo on the low. All for publicity and fame. SMH

People did not want to give him a chance on the show and cracked jokes about him about all the kids he had and if he had a job, but one thing he did have is love for Kandi and her daughter. They didn’t show the relationships he had with his children but they showed the love in his eyes for her….this world has a major problem because people judge a book by it’s cover and not by the contents in its chapters…now Kandi, her daughter and his children and family are left with this pain all because somebody(s) acted foolish and took AJ’S families hearts and souls away. Nowadays it’s best just letting ‘beef’ go. Too many people are dying, so it’s not worth it, especially with kids sitting at home waiting for you. It’s best to let that person walk away feeling smug than walking away with your blood on their hands. Too many cowards bring weapons and back up instead of coming with their bare fists. Definitely not worth the risk.

My heart was sad when I heard this news. I lost a man that I love very much to death, but time heals the heart. She seems strong-willed and focused. Lets just give her time to grieve and God will make everything alright. He was put into her life only for a season. No one will ever no why. But love will come again.
