I believe Jay was channeling Frank Sinatra’s I Love New York song when he wrote this. Pure Genius. I like Jay’s swagga – not like Dame Dash or Diddy running around bragging about what he has or what he’s working on. He keeps it low-key and very refined. That is the recipe for sustained wealth, and a powerful public-image and that is what should happen when one goes from the Marcy Projects to vacations in Prague . Not running around embarrasing us (KANYE) or going broke after bragging incessantly (DAMON) These fools started with Jay-Z they should take lessons from him. Berry Gordy used to put his artists through charm school teaching them etiquette and poise before hitting the public – as they represented us at that time and it was important then and should be now because even though some have $$ they still act very unclassy. Elevate people…you all follow everything Jay wears, does, says, drinks, etc now let’s emulate his behavior.
