Monica hit up 106 & Park on Tuesday night to promote her new BET reality series, “Still Standing” (which premiered on Tuesday). The new series follows Monica around the ATL as she works on her 5th studio album, builds a new house and raises her young sons. Shout out to Freddy O for the pics.
Missy Elliott originally was supposed to drop her long awaited seventh studio album, Block Party after the tracks “Ching-A-Ling” and “Shake Your Pom Pom” dropped at the top of last year, and then followed up by “Best Best,” produced by Danjahandz.
However, she has recently revealed that the album will drop in January of 2010. Of some of the material that was recorded for the album is the Pharrell Williams-produced, “Put It On Ya,” featuring teen sensation, Teyana Taylor. No word or updates on when Taylor plans to release her solo project.
