If a person is in DIVORCE PROCEEDINGS. You don’t have to wait for that to be OVER before you look into other relationships. This is 2009. And if people mutually decide that the relationship if OVER and hire a Lawyer and move forward with a divorce then it’s not Adultery. These are grown ups. Swizz’s wife however is very insecure. She had no LIFE outside of her husband’s success and to see him looking towards Alicia must have thrown her over the deep end. And she made the choice to try and throw Alicia’s name into this via Twitter. This type of actions should be against the law because this is smearing someone’s name. I would never give Alicia a pass if she was cheating with a married man. But Alicia has shows us over the years where she stands in terms of her moral character. She has done more for women’s issues with her music than most who only sing about things that lower women’s self esteem. Stop passing judgment on a situation you half understand. Alicia’s work in the past should assure you of her MORAL character. Swizz’s wife is your typical lazy woman who put everything behind a man and she now discovered that her life is not what she thought it was now that he wants OUT. If you consult Webster’s dictionary you would see that if you’re married and messing with other people and the person you’re messing with is committing adultery. If Swizz wants nothing to do with Mashonda then that’s him and her, but it still does not change the fact that it is adultery. You dont have to be having sex with that person to commit adultery. They been an item way before the twitter incident and before the birth of his son. They may not have been sexually involved but involvement of the emotions and quality time is the same thing.
