@ Fashion Misfit …Girl thank you! I knew I wasn’t losing my mind on this board? You have people actually HATING on Rihanna and Oprah in defensive of someone beating a woman? I don’t care how good anyone can sing or dance or how cute they are you can’t slide by with hitting women and expect me to believe you are a good person.
I wish him the best, counseling and all but at the end of the day my respect for myself doesn’t allow me to care for this young man who beats women and acts remorseful only wen scripted. Yes, we are all human…..some of us still haven’t learned to treat others as such…. ahem, Chris… and to all you young women on this board stay strong and I hope you never have to witness abuse firsthand because noone deserves that.

I can understand Chris being “tight” at Oprah bcuz I just read that she is having Bebe and Cece Winans on her show today. Bebe was charged with a DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ASSAULT in March 2009 by his ex-wife in Nashville (Google it). She is talking out of the sides of her mouth. You can’t demonize the actions of one young man when a GROWN MAN assaults the mother of his children/former wife.

Plus, all those who believe at no time a woman should be hit… yall need to check look at these two youtube video clips named jay Z Punches & Shoves Woman and Gucci Mane punches a girl in the face. Chris shouldn’t be drugged through the mud by himself if others, esp. “Rihanna’s mentor”, has dirt on his hands too.

I believe in forgiving all these brothers if they seek forgiveness but Chris should not be robbed of his career when others have done the same.

I know what he did was wrong…. we all do and I guess he does too. Let’s move on people. Everyone else seemed to take it harder than Rihanna did!! Geesh

iNTERESTiNG. I think CB will be fine in the long run, he admits what he did was wrong, & is now accepting the consequences. He understands why everyone feels the way they do & respects that. All he wants is acknowledgment to the fact that he is HUMAN & is capable of making mistakes (be it small or large). Everyone else needs to get with that. No one is obligated to support him but it’s not fair to make him this Quasi-God that is perfect. Only Rihanna & CB knows what really happened, so passing judgment on something none of us eye-witnessed is not cool anyway. & It is noble of him to keep their business private, out of respect for himself and her, even though he is taking the fall & she hasn’t opened her mouth once to acknowledge what happened as respectfully as he did. Life is hard, but it doesn’t end as you can see with both of them releasing new music projects. Best wishes to the both of them.
