I’m with Omarion…..I try to let artist speak for themselves or atleast let their actions speak for them as it relates to their religious/moral/and God minded selves. Actions do speak louder than words.

I am a Christian and I believe the Bible. The Bible clearly demonstrates Lucifer aka Satan as a once-angelic being who decided to attempt to exalt himself above God. While in Heaven he was charged w/being over the music during worship. in fact, his body is literally an orchestra….He can wave one wing and you’d get a symphony (so to speak)! he is also described as being a kind of dual-nature being….adrogenous so to speak….He was a male angel, but had characteristics of a female….. i.e. his body made of jewels.

When Satan was cast out of Heaven he was exiled to earth where the Bible clearly says he is the “prince of the power of the air” in other words this is his domain [Earth].

Satan has always wanted God’s glory……so he will mimic/become anything he has to in order to get worship that is due to God. he works heavily in the music arena. Whether it be on the international scale (such as the Industry) or on a more minute scale such as churches across the nation….he often intertwines himself and manipulates MUSIC! It’s what he was created to do!

You find alot of unbelieving folk who often have a large following IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS. You also find alot of homosexuality IN THE MUSIC BUSINESS because it speaks to his androgenous nature!

Music is very powerful….it can talk you IN and OUT of some stuff. It can change your heart beat, your pulse even……

Omarion is tellin the truth. However, I’d like to point out that Michael Jackson put out a disclaimer in the beginning of the thriller video stating that he doesn’t believe in the Occult. Tiffany Evans at least was Original. She made comments that are supported by her personal choices in the past. Her songs like Promise Ring reflected a MORALITY that I agree with and that was refreshing. And I personally loved that song. But I can’t agree with her point that Russian Roulette will “inspire” people to kill themselves. I think she did take courage to speak out but I’m not 100% behind her using Rihanna to make this point. But she did make some valid points and her past work reflected that.

Music does not inspire me not to follow the Most High. His power is greater. And I live my life next to him. No man can judge that or change it. CL is great because it shows you many different things that are going on in Music that is not Rihanna or Beyonce and those posts get 20 comments tops. Which tells you that Sex and Controversy sell. But if you are raised with a moral code you know how to be in real life vs what is being sold on TV. There is no conspiracy to control minds. You can control your own life. You don’t have to listen to Beyonce or Rihanna if you don’t like their images. So stop selling these silly theories and empower yourself and help others you know who may not have the right guidance but saying the Illuminati is controlling things is only saying that you don’t have control over your own LIFE.

Being talented is not enough to make it in the industry, you have to be willing to let go of your moral code or at least pretend to. You need to sell a type of image that will appeal to the masses. And unless your main audience are kids, that generally means pushing the envelope, acting “bad”, look like you’re getting women, money, or just doing something other people think is “dark”.
when young men see how you’re getting with 3 or 4 women everyday, they think it’s cool and want to be like you. Which increases the hype around you, makes them want to buy whatever you’re selling.

When you look like you have money, you can do no wrong. How many times do we read a blog about someone doing something stupid or questionable and every comment is “well she/he got money, she/he can do whatever he wants..”

I may be 17 but I can express myself very well and this subject about art is a subject I like to discuss. I just want more African Americans to be more accepting of different expressions. First off Rihanna is not my “GOD”. And I’m very spiritual and music can’t change my relationship with The Most High.

I have met Rihanna a few times and she was 100% gracious and sweet….very respectful of her fans with her time. But the point is I respect her as an ARTIST.
I love the arts and people who express themselves through different mediums. As a young lady I really respect what Rihanna as accomplished. I’m 17 and very inspired by her strength especially after all she has been through. I love her new image and that she has chosen to move into something darker and more expressive.
