I’m a gay, white male and I love CL. However, everytime I read the comments I begin to feel more and more inclined to not come back. I don’t understand how or why anyone else who knows how it feels to be stereotyped would do the same to another. First off, Prince is not gay. He’s flamboyant as Hell but he isn’t gay. I was raised a Jehovah’s Witness and trust, if he were gay he would NOT be in that congregation for long. They have ZERO tolerance for that behavior as I well know. Second, I cannot believe how many times I’ve read I love his music but…, but what? You think he’s a great artist but you can’t co-sign the fact that YOU think he’s gay because of how he dresses? That’s absolutely ridiculous. That’s like me saying I love Gladys Knight but she’s black. I couldn’t give a damn less what color the woman is, she’s gorgeous, talented and real and that’s all that matters. It never fails to amaze me how any other minorty can have such a disgusted attituted towards gays. We didn’t chose our sexuality just as much as y’all didn’t chose your color. I love ALL people from my white mom to my beautiful black nieces and I could give a damn what they do in the bedroom. I hope people can get past this hate because it’s getting old.
One more thing, the person that said that the only racism we have now is economic is dead wrong. Being allowed to hate gays is the only accepted form of racism left. At least you can get assistance for being poor.

Is it just me, but why do all of prince’s girls he’s sleeping with (which the majority are his proteges with the exception of his wife, although, she danced for him) but why do they all look alike? To the 25 and up people, yo I’m telling you, we JUST made the cut in being born in a generation where, WE GET IT! Most of us, (because there are always are exceptions lol) really get it!! We grew up with, know, and truly appreciate great music!.. Soulful music… and ridiculously talented musicians! If I were born any later than 3 years after my year..it would have been a TRAGEDY for me on sooooo many levels!! I want to thank both my mother and father for bringing me into this world pre 1986!!! during a time when great music still existed in mass quantities, was truly incredible, and the artists where truly incredible and artist like Prince could rock how they rocked and everyone (mostly) got it! Thank you Lord!!! lol
P.S. Those of you who were born after 1986, who know, understand, and truly appreciate great music and artists (and who know that Prince is straight ), it is only by the mercy of your parents that you aren’t lost!! 1st thing in the morning, you all need to run and thank you parents for saving you!!! lol
