I must say, she’s quite the bore if you ask me. Black suits her, in a lame sort of way. And to all of the Concrete Loop commentators, who are just fed up with the misconstruing of the truth, I am too. You Rihanna fans are really delusional; That’s not to say that you are to blame for falling for the joke. Def Jam got us all with this one! As far as her being an fashion icon, I don’t know if I would go that far. I like Rihanna and her music. I do like her style, regardless of whether she’s picking it or or not (most celebrities have stylists anyway….). But I don’t know if she’s on a level as a fashion icon yet….like someone else said…she hasn’t really set any trends per se.
Most of the things she wears look good on her but not necessarily on others. Regardless of who picks out her stuff, she’s alot more adventorous and stylish than her peers overall.

As far as her album, I can’t wait for her to come back and get back on top of the charts. And it would be nice if she could do a ballad that really showed that she stepped up her vocal game. And to connect more with the audience during her performances. Not to say she will ever win over everybody. But I think she has more talent than people give her credit for.

And for the record, I don’t think everyone who is not impressed with Rihanna or Beyonce, for that matter are haters or necessarily stans of another artist. I think everyone has a right to their opinion of an artist, regardless of whether I agree or not.
