Keri Hilson – I Like (full) – listen
Check out this new music from Keri Hilson, the first single from the film, Zweiohrküken, due out December. The track was produced by David Jost and Robin Gruber. I like the international feel that it has. It’s interesting, because I’d like to see what direction Keri will choose for her sophomore album, which there are rumors of Keri already returning to the studio with record, while promoting her last U.S. single, “Slow Dance.” She can also most recently heard on Timbaland’s Shock Value 2 album, due out November 23th.
Usher – Rockband (full) – listen
New music from Usher is leaking, since the debut single, “Papers” came out a couple of weeks ago. “Rockband” was produced by RedOne, who is responsible for tracks by Lady Gaga, as well as Cassie’s latest single, “Let’s Get Crazy.” I’m assuming that “Rockband” comes from the sessions for his sixth studio album, Raymond vs. Raymond, which is slated to hit stores December 8th. Not sure whether “Rockband” will appear on the album, considering the “edgy” sound that Usher has said will be featured on the album. Then again, “Papers” threw that direction off for me.
Wynter Gordon – Dirty Talk (full) – listen
Seems as though our girl Wynter Gordon really got it in with David Guetta while he was recording his latest album, One Love, which is in stores now. She was featured on a bonus track from the album entitled “Toyfriend,” which was actually one of my favorite cuts from the album. David Guetta produced this new previously unreleased track, “Dirty Talk.” Wynter has been overseas, wrapping up her debut album, which is due out at the top of next year.
Ciara – Turn It Up (full) – listen
Ciara had a slew of material to leak before and after the release of her last studio album, Fantasy Ride. “Turn It Up,” produced by Danjahandz, obviously is from those sessions, considering the fact that on her upcoming studio album, which is currently untitled, is produced and written solely by Tricky Stewart and The Dream. I can see why this was left out the album, it definitely has a more empty sound than the other tracks Danja did for the album.

I like Ms. Keri track….I dont like her as an artist for some reason I dont know. She just turned me off when she came with that Beyonce/ Ciara diss track. When you get a #1 hit like those ladies then you get bragin rights. You ain done nothing special sweetheart. Funny how she throw all the heavy hitters on her tracks (wayne, kanye, neyo) and was able to make it on the charts and she think she up there with the best…bi*tch please.
BTW ciara joint is hot…I like her music. I hope she can get back up there. She really been tru the ropes with her last album…which had some good joints.

LOL is it just me, or do all of these tracks sound similar???? I didn’t like any of them. I am so sick of this dance/pop/techno crap. It’s overrated and overdone. Dance music was better when it was seperate from major industry music artists or when DANCE artists were just doing it.
Keri Hilson, she can sing, but her voice annoys me, especially in this song. Too dance/popish for me.
Usher, that song is so wack and sounds like he’s trying too hard to have a smash uptempo hit. I dont get it with Red One… his beats all sound the same.

Ciara, her voice is so irritating. She’s singing too high, plus, they did some major fixing of the vocals and it sounds so fake. The beat is wack too.
I’m excited for CiCi’s 4th album. @meme, yeah i really liked Fantasy Ride, but obviously many didn’t like it. That’s too bad because there were some brilliant songs on there. I hope she can get back up there too with this new album.

I think alot of artist are going in a different direction with there music and I like it. All these sounds have a techno/pop/international feel…not bad atall.

Wynter and Keri’s songs are cool! I’m not really feeling Usher AT ALL right now period! since he feels like he has to pull publicity stunts to sell records. That means he’s not really feeling what he’s singin’ about. He may just be doing it all for “numbers” I really feel like he just doing WATEVER HE HAS TOO to be #1 again even if that mean he to MAKE UP a whole “divorce fiasco” and I can’t respect that. LOL @ #33.. Stacy.. hate to break it to you, but 98% of R&B is built upon break-ups, happy times and so forth. Only difference is that you (and the rest of the public) were invested in his relationship b/c he’s a public figure. All of these rumors fielded by blogs & such make private matters not so private. Marvin Gaye made three albums about his divorce also–fortunately for him, media was less consumed w/ his personal matters. Artists find inspiration from their life — art imitates life and sometimes vice versa. If you’re going thru a rough patch, I doubt you’re going to sing a Heatwave Always & Forever inspired song ya digg? Usher is singing about what he’s going thru — the same as he sung about when he was in love, prior to Confessions (which he stated was not about Chili repeatedly) & so forth.
Anyway… Keri song is okay. lol This Usher song is kinda cornbal thol.. I just can’t get over a 31 yr old comparing his sexual prowess to a video game.. Really? LOL just imagining someone whisperin that in ya ear kills me tenderly, lmao.

Cici’s track is kinda flat but OK. All that Fantasy Ride fiasco will ever be the reference to her music? That’s sad because she is capable of doing pretty great things when correctly lead to. I love her and wait for the record anxiously.
