I couldnt help but be absolutley humbled by someone of his stature. Mike Tyson grew up before our eyes and knowing his past and where he is now speaks volumes. Its kinda eery to see a man who used to horrify people in the boxing relm seem so meek and humble. One thing i admired about this interview is his honesty and the fact that he doesnt blame others for the mistakes he has made. He’s come to terms with the person he once was and the man he wants to become. How can you not applaud that? I really hope he continues to stay on the rigth path and one day find that peace he’s searching for. You can see from that interview within in split second that man can become the Mike of old. But you have to applaud the effort and progression he is making to become a better human being..Something everyone seeks but few ever find….Much Love Mike….In my eyes the best that ever did it

mike is on some serious psychotropic meds … that interview was painful to watch .. and his little gold diggin wife was a joke and way to transparent … who would marry and procreate with a man who has bit a man ear’s off, been convicted of rape, is an admitted woman beater, said he wanted to stomp on childrens testicles, admitted he developed some ‘interesting’ vices in prison, and the list goes on … I used to LOVE me some Mike Tyson, now I feel deep empathy for him … his mind is gone and it ain’t comin back

1st off i can tell that you was never a fan of mike tyson, cuz if was you would of known he never did rape that BITCH,theres was no force of entry,no brusies,no cuts, nothing that indicated that she was rape,2nd i dnt blame him for biten dudes ear off thoes headbutts he was doing were illegal you dont do that in boxing, plus the reff was callin them out i think is was fixed if u ask me,3rd mike should have never hit a robin but at least he admitted it and own up to it like a man alot of men dont do that, and im sure robin aint no saint either,3rd wut mean he lost his lost his mind and aint comin back? the man has been threw alot in his life more than alot of us could ever take and he’s getn his life back in order and tryn to live right for god sake the man lost a child,i think the only person that lost there mind is you for sayn that dumb ass comment, you need to watch the documentary

@13 I agree with you about his wife, she made ABSOLUTELY no sense. Especially when she said she didn’t want to watch the documentary on his life. Ummm hello, Mrs. Fool why wouldn’t you want to know THE REAL Mike Tyson in full effect. She is seriously in denial about who he is and who he was because she’s blinded by his name and money he’s rebuilding!! It was really painful to watch, he is a troubled man who is a danger to himself, but at least he’s honest and takes full responsibility for his actions, and that you can definitely respect. He’s still hurting from the loss in his life, my prayers are with him. BTW, did Oprah ask about that tattoo on his face? what does it mean, I can’t remember?

Man, that was a gooot interview. If he wasn’t on Oprah I doubt that I would want to see his doc wait a minute I’m lying. I heard the doc was good. Good Job Oprah. You can tell that Mike is still in pain he was so emotional at times. I’m glad to see that his kids bring him joy and he doesn’t worry about people outside of his circle.

#21, did u mean to say tragic because I think “pathetic” is a little harsh. #17, I agree with you 100%. I too saw Tyson’s “documentary” and it had such an impact on me. I never had much of a regard for him prior to watching it but totally made me look at him in another light. His rise and fall as possibly the greatest boxer of all time was sad and uncomfortable to watch. I didn’t catch the Oprah interview and I can’t view it now, but I notice that a few people are saying he has speech problems. Idk since I do believe he has a mickey mouse voice, but I thought he was very well spoken, at least in his documentary. Any how, lighten up on the guy and watch Tyson, it will change your perception of him!

This was a good episode. CRAZY!!! I am sorry his speech impediment still makes me cringe every time he tries to talk, ugh, education is the key. I do not care how much money you earn. You can still learn in or outside of a classroom to remain unable, to speak with all the money you have earned kills me. Call me classist and egregious that is fine with me.

Oprah you might wanna ease up on these interviews ,you getting a little too personal ,how would you like it Oprah ,if your personal business was out there like that ! How would you like it, If Steadman, put your business out there like that !,And told the media about your personal weight problems and the first time you came over my boy Steadman`s house and you knocked on his door, and when he opened it up,you did`nt even say hi ,you ran past him and went into his kitchen ,to check out his new stove ,then you said ,I`m gonna be cooking up some good meals on this stove, and Steadman said ,what are you doing, and you said ,here baby I got something for you,and you handed him a half-eaten candy bar, then when your big fat ass finally left ,Steadman checked his cupboards and noticed that two cans of tuna was missing.

I really appreciated the Tyson interview yesterday. We got to see a human side of him, we are witnessing a breaking of a negative spirit he has become very humble. Cas or whatever his name was, the guy that took him under his wing was no human good for him. But I thank God for he is sovreign over every thing. Mike is learning to love, to trust, to communicate, to be accountable, and most of all to release his emotions in a positive way. God bless you Mike. May you continue to abound in all good things.

People need to understand that he’s obviously gone through a lot and can set back and watch himself on film to see that you know what I’d be scared of “me” too if I was acting like that..and him losing his daughter allowed him to contain his anger even more. Family is his biggest assets and for the first time I’m seeing tyson in a whole new light.

HEARING HIM TALK ABOUT HIS DAUGHTER WAS SAD BUT MADE ME THINK THAT HE DOESN’T BELIEVE IT WAS AN ACCIDENT.

HIS WIFE IS AN IDIOT. SHE IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THE SAYING “LOVE IS BLIND”…I WANTED TO SMACK HER RIGHT UPSIDE HER HEAD FOR THOSE RIDICULOUS COMMENTS. EVEN MIKE HIMSELF SAID “MY BABY IS IN SUCH DENIAL”..UGH!!!!

I saw interview and I think someone Deepak Chopra, Dr. Oz, Dr. Phil, SOMEONE needs to get him help. When he said he doesn’t want to know who to blame for his daughters death, in my mind, he feels that if he feels like he knows someone wasn’t watching her, he’ll snap. So obviously he’s talking about the mother or nanny. He’s troubled for god’s sake. Mike needs help.

I honestly see him committing suicide, the guy has had a horrible childhood, raised to be a violent person, has been made fun of, has no trust in women whatsoever, has never had anyone to trust…I wish him serious medical treatment. (I don’t mean drugged, I mean psychological)

His wife reminds me of the light skinned lady from “Diary of a Mad Black Woman.” They’re both in it for the money and acting delusional–”he’ll never do that to me.” She thinks he’s all changed because of her, until one day when she gets socked in the face.

i think mike resembles truth, honesty, growth, matureness, humbleness, gratefulness and so much more. i respect everything he said and i am changed by everything he went through. life is such a blessging in disguise people have to endure so much sometimes but its always for the strength of somebody else. it is also an eye opener to up and coming artist and entertainers my mother always said money only makes you more of what you are and he was all those things but now i can see it in his eyes that he longer wants that life he is embrassed and ashamed of it but it molded him and now he can help someone else i think that he has grown up and is now in control of his life and also to all of you people who incessantly keep judging and critizin these entertains i have no respect for you because these are peoples lives and they go through just like me and you so who are to to speak down on them if God can forgive them who are we as fans and people so please just stop and respect the fact that people make mistakes and if you never do how will you ever learn or gain experience to help someones else?

Wow! What an interview. I saw the documentary a while back and have to say that my heart was broken because of all he had to endure. He such a vulnerable soul and seemingly very shy. I have a new appreciation for Mike, the man, and not the one the media concocted. I’m so happy he’s recovered and is enjoying his beautiful children (he makes some beautiful babies) and his new wife.

Mike, my heart goes out to you and Exodus’ mother at the loss of your beautiful little angel. Our prayers are with you and others who’ve had to endure such horror.

In my opinion, Oprah only had Tyson on her show because she gets off on appearing mentally dominant over black men. She knows that she can say things to elicit an emotional response from him at her discretion. Very revealingly, she said numerous times that the documentary made her see him as a “human”, which means that she must have viewed him as an animal before that. It was very interesting, and funny, when she specifically asked Mike if he viewed himself as a “god” or “God” himself when he stepped into the ring, as if she is someone to chastise another person on respect for a higher power. She does not even believe in the Most High or Christ as is revealed in the oroboros serpent circle, sun-worship emblem, in the “O” in her “Oprah” logo lol. She then went on her New Age spiel about “love” and a “personal angel”. Even Tyson brushed that off as what it was, more feminine philosophical drivel. After all that, she acted as if she did not remember Tyson calling his rape accusers “filthy swine”, so that she could get him to say it, so that she could manipulate the situation and pounce on him with her feminist agenda. It is what it is. She knows that Tyson sacrificed his daughter to the Baphomet so that he could ingratiate himself with the elite, of which she is a main conduit from them to the masses.

I started this clip expecting to see Tyson slurring his words, based on the commentary on this thread. He spoke clearly and articulately, so I have no idea what the problem is. He has always had a high-pitched voice. Mike was raped while in a group home, which is the source of alot of his mental issues. Furthermore, Mike Tyson did not “blow” 300 million dollars lmao. I doubt if he even saw a tenth of that money to spend. A man like that was put on an allowance. Things are bought for him. Taxes are (allegedly) paid for him. When he is no longer an asset, his allowance is cut off and he is put on the front of the newspapers as a loser. The same thing is done to every black entertainer that isn’t business smart. I also believe that Cus D’Amato molested him in his early adolescence, as he did his other wards like Floyd Patterson. This is why all of D’Amato’s proteges tend to have that meek, demure, child-like way of expressing themselves. Few people know that D’Amato was an alleged h*moosexual.

Great interview and one of Oprah’s best. This really made me see Mike for the first time as a human being not some heartless fighting animal and womanizer.

When you can stay sane after losing a child then you know the hand of God is on you. I appreciate his honesty and I am so happy to see him working his way through this life in a more positive, mature, self-controlled manner. His wife actually is the one that still has alot of growing to do.

How are y’all gonna call him a monster for the Robyn Givens mess, but go right out and support Chris Brown’s ass after beating up Rhianna. I’ll tell you.

Mike Tyson is ugly, and Chris Brown is cute. The media and Chris Brown’s PR people were on it. Mike didn’t have no one to come clean up his mess.

So quick to say you never knew what Rhianna did to make him beat her up, well the same and more could be said about Robyn. She married that man, and took his money, now does she deserve her ass whooped?

Wow! This was very interesting, Mike Tyson was so young and so many took advantage of his wealth and fame. So many in the industry get taken advantage of when they have no clue on how to handle their business, it’s not about how well you sing, dance, box, or act, it’s about having sense with your money.

I am really happy that Mike is trying to get his life in order, no amount of money in the world can give you true Love or happiness!

Mike Tyson in my book is still the #1 Heavy Weight Champion!

I loved this man so much I named my Chow-Chow after him (Tyson)!

Let’s face it people this man was BAD in the ring!

So Mike just live your life and I wish nothing but Love and Happiness for you and your family!

Oh yeah I hope Jamie Fox get the rights to play Tyson, he was telling Tara Banks that he wanted to play Mike in the Movie, that would be awesome!

    Peace Out Kiddo!
