Award winning artist/producer T-Pain will make his first prime-time acting appearance on FOX’s new series “Brothers.” Here is the synopsis of the episode:
In the episode, Mike (Michael Strahan) and Chill (Daryl Mitchell) encounter a financially strapped T Pain at Trainor’s, the family’s restaurant.
The new sitcom stars former football star Michael Strahan, actor/comedian Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, CCH Pounder and Carl Weathers and will be the only show in prime time with an all African American cast. The episode slated to air on Friday, October 9th at 8pm EST.

@1 u haven’t heard of the show 4 3 reasons:
Reason 1: it’s an all AFRICAN AMERICAN and POSITIVE show they hardly EVER promote on FOX, The only reason i know about the show is b/c Michael Strahan was on The Wendy Williams promoting it.
Reason 2: they gave them a crappy time Slot, Fridays @ 8…ummm HELLLLLO Friday is a night most ppl chose to go out and are hardly home.
Reason 3: and this is being honest, its not a very interesting show…if it makes through 1 full season it will surprise me.
So with that being said im sure if this is a good move 4 T-Pain.
In order for FOX or any other Mainstream network u need 2 have useless African American shows like The Cleveland Show to get promotion…I’m not gonna lie Cleveland show is my joint

this show is alright, i’ve watched it a couple of times. I miss the game. I like the Clevland show. I like meet the Browns better than House of Payne. I actually stopped watching House of Payne. It’s just not funny to me. the only funny character in the house of payne is the one who plays the father.

I read some where BET was in the middle of negotitations to try and bring back the show, that’s y they’ve been showing the previous seasons of The Game religiously. The Game would have their 4th and furture seaons on BET, but that was months ago and I haven’t heard anything since, I’m not sure if thats still the case, but I sure hope it is!

Friday’s at 8 aren’t bad time slots if the show is good. TGIF used to start @ 8 and everybody used to watch it. Kids will watch if it’s funny. They just have to promote it.

House of Pain does not have an all African-American cast,there is a white actor and a latino actress who play fireman on the series.

House of Payne is the driest show I have ever seen.
I watch it when there is absolutely nothing else on TV and as many episodes as I’ve seen, I’ve only laughed 3 times.
And for it to be a #1 show – like who’s watching it? It’s not funny at all and the uncle/dad is so unbelievably annoying. I really have no idea why I watch the show but I do.
The whole drama with CJ, his kids, and their druggy mama was annoying. So surprised that it’s a “Tyler Perry show” because his movies are actually funny, I don’t know what went wrong.
SO HOPEFULLY “Brothers” will be a much better show.
ALSO, The Game does NOT have bad acting in it!
Love that show, there’s a few episodes where no matter HOW many times I’ve watched it, I laugh just as hard as I did the first time. Even though I know the parts coming and wait for it I still find some episodes/lines so funny. The only ‘annoying/bad’ part about The Game was Melanie sometimes, she overreacted so many times when it came to Derwin that I wanted to slap her.
Just because a show consists of an all Black cast is NOT a good enough reason (to ME) to watch it. I will watch a show that is interesting, well thought-out and has some substance (which is why I usually find myself tuning in to the Discovery Channel or something with similar programming). These people hardly need OUR money – they are in Hollywood making it while we sit in our respective locations trying to get by.
I too tried to watch the Mo’Nique show on BET and it was just too much. She is way over the top with all of the screaming and hollering and “ooh baby, sugar, honey-pie, crap”. She looks great with the weight loss I must say.
Maybe I’m being too judgemental, but this is another stereotypical show to me. Two black men with no money staying at home with their parents, I just can’t get with this.

I had just got done putting some dollar bills in this stripper`s thong when the idea came to me to get some acting gigs for T-Pain,in the meantime, look out for his new single called,Death of the 40 year old Rappers ! TPAIN crazy ass would play a part such as a pimp or a hustle man of some sort. I am so sick of blacks being portrayed like that on television. Its 2009, start hiring white folks to take on those roles, they hustle in the streets & are pimps also.

If I was Michael Strahan I wouldnt have even done this show if they were going to air it on Fridays. There hasnt been a decent black sitcom on since the Parkers SMH. Anyways it sounds like a funny show.
